This hotel is located some fair distance from town . However the surrounding area is woody and pretty . |Car park is plentiful and free. |Checkin is fast and clear . An onsen tax of 150 is paid on arrival . |The rooms are very big and spacious . Beds are very comfortable though only one pillow is provided per bed . The temperature control is only heat - small , medium or big . The rooms are provided with a fan and humidifier . We opened the windows and off the heater and temperature was perfect . |Dinner is good with free flow beer , soft drinks and sashimi , beef , SHABU SHABU pork etc . We asked for permission to celebrate a birthday but the request was denied in the dining room or public waiting area . In the end we had to sing happy birthday in the room and the staff was very polite and helpful in providing plates , candle lighter . |Breakfast was good with Japanese and western types . Very satisfying . |Onsens were good with many pools . Outdoor pool was quite large with two big urns as well for soaking . |Overall a good stay for the price though the stay could be made more complete with two bottles of water and waterproof bags/ basket for us to bring towels...

The private room was 1100 Yen per hour for us so it is very affordable comparatively to some other hotels which required three...
