I'm touring shrines on my motorcycle for three nights, using a single-person tent site as a base. Check-in is from 14:00. It started raining the next morning. I put on my raincoat and visited Izumo Great Shrine åºé²å€§ç€Ÿ. It started raining heavily in the afternoon. Thunderstorm. Super heavy rain. I can't help it with this rain, so I'm writing a long review in my tent ð My tent was submerged in the pond. I should have made good use of the slope. I didn't expect it to rain so much. I'll be more careful next time. I want to dig a waterway right away ð Please enjoy the muddy water in the photos. But tarps are very powerful. The inside of the tent seems to be okay. I really thought that a ground sheet and a tarp are very useful even for motorcycle touring. The plot is surrounded by trees, so neither the rain nor the sun hit the tent directly. The single site itself is small, only 3m x 4m, but it is far away from the other sites, so it is spacious enough to stretch the rope and drive in the pegs. The single site is on the edge, so I can't see any other campers. However, because of the bad weather, I seem to be the only camper here ð You can park your motorcycle in a place where you can see it from your tent. There is no power outlet at the single site. Wi-Fi is available. You can buy a garbage bag for a fee and take it to the reception desk, where they will collect your garbage. There is a juice vending machine outside the reception building. Firewood is also sold, but it was hot so I didn't make a bonfire. nanaco, PayPay, etc. are available at the reception desk. Due to bear sightings, the lights at the tent site are not turned off even at night. Silent time is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., so you cannot start the engine. There is a paid shower room, but I did not use it. There is an open-air bath called Hikawa Bijin no Yu ã²ããçŸäººã®æ¹¯ about 10 minutes away by motorbike, so I went there. It was a...

Matsue Forest Park ðïž Got a 8 pax cabin as it was the only one left. The house comes with a dining area, kitchen, bathroom, living room (with TV), 2nd storey and 8 bunks. But no towels.
Check-in time at 4pm and check-out at 10am. So that helps to plan your time around exploring the Matsue area.
There are very decent supermarkets 10 min drive away, so it's not exactly a very deserted campsite. More a glamping experience. Also, last minute emergency supplies can be purchased at check-in counter...
