Guesthouse SORA — Hotel in Minamiizu

Wonderful place on a good budget.

Decor was done very well, facilities like showers, toilets, washing machine, BBQ (book in advance) outdoor shower, TV, cooking facilities and fridge was provided, as with tea and coffee every morning. Bathing soap, shampoo and conditioner was also complementary. Rooms were cosy, air-conditioned and had curtains for privacy. Rooms were allocated well, with thought made for people-to-people interactions. Each bed had a light and two USB ports-- Yes!!! WIFI was strong, and coverage was excellent. Cool music in living room too. Let's not leave out the bean bags and comfy sofa.

Beer, soap, detergent, instant noodles and canned food available at prices that I suspect the owners are absorbing themselves to make life better for their guests (thank you!)

Masa-san and Miyuki-san, the owners, were very friendly and knowledgable about the place, going to lengths to make sure the guests were comfy and knew the area.

Approx three minutes walk from the nearest bus stop, and seven from a beautiful beach, so the place was well-convenienced.

Overall one of the best guesthouses on a budget...

Sora is the best. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Rooms are very clean and cozy. There is a kitchen you can use to cook your own food. There is a front yard with a grill you can use to make bbq and chill in the evening.|Its very well locatad. A beautiful beach is just a 5 min walk away. There is also a path through the cape that will lead you to other beaches. located in an conveient place where the beach is at walking distance. well decorated and maintained. there’s a kitchen that you can use. Though they have shared toilet and shower but its convenient to use. I found The owner so friendly.
