Beware of misleading photos and reviews! Our stay here was incredibly disappointing and not worth the money.

Check-in: It took 30-45 minutes, during which they failed to inform us about nightly power outages and emergency procedures. So we woke up in the middle of the night with light in our room and needed to figure out that this happens every night.. They serve tea during this time, which is nice.

Cleanliness: The resort is dirty, and room cleaning is unpredictable. They offer 1,000 yen for not cleaning your room, but the beach is littered with trash that looks neglected.

Beach: The beach is dirty and difficult to access. They direct you to other beaches that require a car to reach. Save your money and stay somewhere with better beach access.

Ocean view: Only visible from the second floor of the lobby, which is restricted outside of meal times.

Location: The resort is secluded and difficult to reach, especially in heavy rain. There’s nothing to do during bad weather. You need a car yet roads are dangerous. Taxi app does not work.

Pool: It was closed and looked dirty, with employees’ laundry hanging nearby.

Rooms: Spacious with nice bathrooms, but no sunbathing spots near the pool.

Food: Dinner requires booking in advance and is hit-or-miss. Breakfast and starters are poorly executed. Expensive and do not worth the money.

Staff: Polite but ineffective, with poor English skills leading to communication issues. Management issues are visible.

Check-out: Also takes 30-45 minutes, with long waits for taxis despite advance notice.

A beautiful resort on the coast. This really was a treat to visit. We booked a private villa with private swimming pool and it was worth every penny spent. It's without a doubt the most relaxing holiday I've had and to be able to swim in private was so enjoyable. The location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but the taxis are pretty easy to book and the cost isn't too bad. The beach next to the hotel and villas was stunning although a large amount of refuse washes up on the shore,I can't help feeling that it might be worth the hotel employing someone to walk the beach and clean it up a bit since a cleaner beach would be a huge draw for guests. I also felt a small array of convenience products available to guests would be helpful sure the resort location (miles from the nearest shop).I was also disappointed to find that the bar was closed in late early October (off season) even though there were quite a few guests there and the weather was gloriously hot. Saying all that, the villa was perfect, pretty much faultless. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. Fabulous place to chill out and escape the stresses of every day. It is in the middle of no where though so not walking distance to any other places, shops or restaurants. It is right on the sea front and each room has a private pool which was amazing. Massive bath tub looking over the pool and sea with a separate shower and toilet that washes you and does all types of things. Very clean, spacious and modern. It's a gorgeous place. The public pool could do with a revamp as a bit dated. The staff are so friendly and try to help even though English is not their first language. Breakfasts are an experience, very unusual especially their 'Western' version but the soup was delicious and unlimited with croissants or bread rolls. Room service was delicious and the in room hotpot was fantastic.
