Aishinkan — Hotel in Morioka

Overall rating: 3.7 stars||||Tsunagi Onsen is a convenient overnight location for visitors to Morioka and, especially, the very-nearby, authentic Morioka Handicrafts Village. ||||Os one of several competing properties at Tsunagi Onsen, Aishinkan provided many wonderful modern rotenburo (outdoor baths) as a compensation for its otherwise-kind-of-ordinary amenities, ||||Overall, the place felt a little run-down. The room floors,and the rooms themselves, contained scuffs and scrapes, e.g. wallpaper tears, which evinced a somewhat sloppy standard of housekeeping. The property felt slightly drab and dreary -- it gave a first impression that was less than crisp || ||Nonetheless the staff was focused and attentive. The quality and care of the dining were good. The free draft beer on offer in the lobby was a pleasant amenity! ||||In addition to those several positives, the modern outdoor baths (rotenburo) were the saving grace of this modern Japanese-style hotel. I stayed here for the purpose of relaxation and for the dip onto the hot baths. They have the outdoor baths as well as the indoor baths. ||||Overall a good stay. The staffs despite the language barrier, did their best to explain things , something which i appreciated a lot. The Dinner and breakfast was good, i had a nice restful sleep and it overall met my needs.||||The lake nearby is nice for a morning stroll and so is the park. To head back to Morioka Station , you can walk down to a bus stop a small hut like shelter located near to the information centre and a small parking area. There are no english work on the signage of the bus stop but there are useful map that indicated the buses. All you need to do is to cross check the kanji characters on the map and on the timetable and you should be able to get the correct bus on the...

4 years ago we were here .. the experience was not really good.. then last May 2025 we stayed here again.. and surprisingly the service and environment was totally changed.. GREAT.. we rented the exclusive bath.. and the foods and the drink all u can is great .. then July 2025 we came back here again .. really nice becoz they allowed to use the public bath for the minimal tattoos ❤️really appreciate.. looking forward to be back soon… highly...
