Miyajima Camping Ground — Hotel in Nakatsugawa

Rooms - it was cozy enough for a bungalow. I suggest bringing your own futon and electric fan because no aircon. We stayed mid August during summer vacation and it was chilly at night maybe because of the breeze coming from the river. Bring jacket or blanket especially when you are hanging out outside in the evening.

Service - almost all the staff are old people and is really hard to understand especially for foreigners who don’t know Japanese. But they are really full of energy and will assist you the best way possible.

Location - it is really a drive up the mountain then down again going to the river. The place was relaxing and very clean. The toilets are clean but the shower rooms are little dirty and smells a little bit.

It was a great experience. We enjoyed dipping in cold water. The view is absolutely fantastic. The sound of nature is so relaxing and pleasant to the ears. We stayed in bungalows with water supply and barbeque grill area. Toilets and showers are accessible.
