Resort hotel Moana Coast — Hotel in Naruto

We stayed one night at the Resort Hotel Moana Coast, driving in from Kobe, and went to see the Naruto whirlpools the next morning. This was an extremely enjoyable stay, where the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the decor of the room was nice, like a Western-style house, and in good condition (not too dated). The room was also filled with a nice aroma scent. || ||Dinner and breakfast was part of our package, and was served at their restaurant, Fishbone. The dishes are Italian with a Japanese flare, made with fresh ingredients. We had a very delicious 4-course dinner. Portions are modest so you are able to finish everything. I do suggest choosing options with additional surcharge as it is worth every penny. We loved the Seafood Carpaccio, which was extremely fresh with a nice tangy dressing. The beef steak was excellent – one of the best I've had, very tender and perfect cook on the beef. Breakfast equally amazing – homemade bread and yoghurt were delicious, and the baked egg was great. There is a salad bar which is served buffet style, slightly limited choice though. ||||A few tips to note: ||-Last order for dinner is 8:30pm, so if you are coming in at night, do keep this in mind and give the hotel a heads up ||-Our room had a jacuzzi on the roof. We stayed here for 1 night because we went to see the Naruto swirl. We found this hotel is mostly for local people to have their wedding as they have a nice view facing the see. I stayed in their cheapest room but it is already good enough - room is HUGE, the g/f is the room itself with open kitchen, huge sofa and huge beds. the 2/f has a big jaccuzi facing the sea. We stayed at the ‚Villa Bel tramonto‘ for two nights and felt very much at ease at this beautiful hotel. Our room had a jacuzzi on the second floor. The location of the hotel Resort is close to the ocean. Although the japanese people do not swim often in the sea, it was one of the better spots for swimming in Japan we had visited during our trip. We had our own car and drove to the sightseeing points at Naruto on our own, which were also close by. The dancing festival at Tokushima was during our stay and a superb experience.
