DOG SPA RESORT ALTOPIANO — Hotel in Nasu

This is the best place for dogs in Nasu.

The place caters not only for humans but the facilities are built for pets and their well being.

We stayed from 26th October - 27th October. Stayed in room 207. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the car park and were offered for our bags to be carried in. Such as a nice gesture but we kindly refused because we arrived late and didn't want to inconvenience the staff.

The room we stayed in ( room 207 ) is their biggest room. The amenities were more than complete. Not only did they have the usual shavers, toothbrushes, hair comb, air dryer but there was a towel heater and jewelry box to keep your jewelry in place and not flat on the table. The room comes complete with a safe.

Plenty of towels in the room.

The one I love most is, it has a massage chair. It's great to have this in the room.

The Internet signal was very strong wherever we were in the property and was fast. Plenty of parking space.

There is a doggie pool and as can be seen in the video my dog really had fun. That was the first time she swam and she was a natural.

Dog cookies and snacks are available complimentary near the lobby staircase.

The bath is great, clean, well maintained and complete with everything that a bath usually provides.

The room is so clean, no dust on the table, tv, bed side table. Perfect 👍.

Unfortunately, the dates we stayed in, the chef was on their day off and so we didn't have a chance to taste the food but that wasn't a problem as we were informed a month prior when booking so we were prepared and brought some meals of our own.

In conclusion, we will return in Spring. I would love to come in winter but I don't like to drive in the snow.

The attention to detail at this place is perfect. Easily beat any well known resort and their standards are so high.

We signed up for their membership as I know I'll be coming here often after winter.

If I could give more stars, I would. The service by every single staff member made this one of our favorite family trips we’ve ever taken. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were treated with so much care. From the welcome sign for our dog on our room door to the custom menus that were printed and translated into English for us, the staff really went above and beyond. We recently adopted our puppy and she is still nervous around humans. The staff immediately noticed this and respected her boundaries and gave her space to get used to them. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious and plated beautifully. The private onsen was great and the dog run was spacious. This was a fantastic way to vacation...
