Niseko Mountain Guides just rocked my world! I was intimidated, at first, by all of the possibilities in the Niseko area as I weighed my options for celebrating the new year. Fortunately, Tracy's operation proved to be the perfect one-stop-shop. His lodge is cozy and beautifully designed (as other reviewers have noted) with a spacious drying room, fully-equipped kitchen, and multiple gathering spaces. In addition, he was the consummate ski guide in the backcountry and while exploring the lift-accessed terrain at Niseko Village on a big powder day. Regarding the backcounry, we had hoped to skin to the rim of Mount Yotei, however, limited visibility prompted Tracy to call it off and set our sights on a safer objective. I can't speak highly enough about Tracy's risk management, communicativeness, and the technical skiing pointers that he shared thoughtfully over our days together. I'm looking forward to future adventures with Niseko Mountain Guides!

Excellent lodging close to Niseko but away from the crowds. Nature access is literally just outside the door. Spot animals from the windows or garden and enjoy the perfect view of Mt.Yotei. Fully equipped kitchen, large shower & super comfortable beds. The hosts are also very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. As you can see from the images uploaded by former reviews, this place is both charming, modern and functional. If you like nature, animals and beautiful landscapes but still want great comfort, this is the place!

A cozy cabin in a prime spot with great hosts. Had the pleasure of staying here in summer. Very comfortable beds, I lovely kitchen and dining area for self catering and fabulous views of the mountain. It's a great location for winter too and the host, Tracy, is a very experienced mountain guide. Highly recommend for small groups that want to enjoy Niseko but away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists.

We absolutely loved our stay! The view of Mt. Yotei from the house was breathtaking—truly one of a kind. Mika, the host, was incredibly kind and generous. She gave us fantastic local recommendations and even welcomed us into her garden, where we picked fresh blueberries, tomatoes, and cucumbers—such a memorable experience!

Mika was always nearby and quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed anything, and she went out of her way to help us with our infant by arranging a crib, which was so appreciated. The house itself is peaceful and relaxed, nestled in the mountains, yet very close to everything—perfect for a family getaway. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming...
