Niseko Shirokuma Cottage — Hotel in Niseko

The warmth and great hospitality of the owners. Aki San and Kyouko San were so kind to make sure that every thing was well prepared. You can have breakfast and dinner with them and they would cook for you as well. The cottage looks very cute and inside is spacious actually. It is clean and warm enough even they still use the dry woods and branches for their classic old time metal fireplace. The bed room is on the upper part and it is so good that the view in Winter is picturesque. With the price you pay and you get a view of Yotei San , the great mountain, this is already so much worth it. The footage might be located a bit further from the center but it is convenient when you drive a car. Otherwise, Aki San is more than happy to be your driver and a guide man for you. See? Aki San can be your cook and your driver. Literally he is your host that makes sure Japanese hospitality is delivered to you while staying with them. Their hospitality I could say that you won’t find it from any other 5-6 star luxury hotels. Definitely a high recommendation. I wish I can come to explore more of Hokkaido in other seasons. Will see you again...

ニセコでスキーをする為に拠点としたコテージ。||||良かった点||１、薪ストーブがあり、上手く焚けると楽しい！||２、部屋の入口側、２Ｆ手前で無料Wifiが利用できる。||３、キッチン器具（電子レンジ、冷蔵庫も含む）があり自炊できる。||４、お湯が直ぐに出て安定している。||５、トイレはウォシュレットで綺麗に維持されている。||６、ロフトは林間学校みたいでわくわくする。特に冬の嵐だったのでドキドキわくわく感がすごかった！||||注意する点||１、お風呂、シャワーは無いので、近くの温泉を利用する事になる。||（ニセコ駅前温泉の入浴券が提供される。クルマがないといけない）||２、冬場で吹雪いているときは、幹線道路で右折、左折マチをする時には、注意が必要。||３、徒歩エリアに何もない。クルマで２分から１０分のエリアに飲食店、コンビニ、温泉、薬局がある。||４、自分は薪ストーブを炊くのが下手で、2時間がんば...

こじんまりしてるけど、作りもしっかりしていて、値段もお得でいい感じだった。

風呂がないのは少し残念だけど、ほど近いニセコ綺羅の湯の入浴券をくれるのでありがたい。

それにしても、薪ストーブは素敵だね。

薪は油の多い針葉樹やシラカバだと着火は早いが、燃え尽きるスピードも速かったり、広葉樹は長持ちだったりして面白い。 ここでは薪は用意してくれているので、準備する必要はない。

24時をまわった頃、眠る準備に入り、薪を目一杯くべたが、朝方にはやはり燃え尽きていた。

しかしながら、その日の明け方の気温は氷点下15℃にも関わらず、目が覚めるまで暖かかったのは建物の作りが良いからだろうか？ とても快適に過ごせた。

最後に一つ要求すると、食器や調理器具は最低限の種類を用意してほしいな。 有料の追加オプションでもいいと思う。 せっかくの良い雰囲気、そういう...
