Be sure not to confuse this campsite Aoyagi Hama with the one next door. The one star is for them because they don’t have a website anymore on purpose. There service is atrocious because for one they charge a higher price, you have to walk 600 meters to the only toilet that has all kinds of bugs biting you when you use it. The grounds are full of rocks and tree roots that puncture your tent. The only flat space is on ant infested sand. There wash area water run off drains into the campsite grounds and flows onto your tent. It is the worst campsite in all of Japan, and the old man and young lady lock you in with a chain gate that can’t be seen at night if you arrive (be careful very dangerous) and they are very very rude unlike most other campsite managers. Read moreCampsite was closed during the week, we arrived 6:00pm on a Sunday night, the lady was kind enough to let us stay, but thought it a bit cheeky of her to tell us we were not allowed to swim in the lake. 全体的にファミリーが多かったです。 沢山の子供達が琵琶湖で楽しそうに遊んでました。
車のナンバーを見るに、滋賀、京都、大阪から集まっているようです。
全体の区画のうち1/3くらいが琵琶湖に面しています。琵琶湖から涼しい風が吹いてるので、最高気温32度でしたが、寝苦しくなく快適でした。 区画は広めです。テント、タープを余裕で設営できます。
