Staying at SENT was like stepping into a dream woven from history, warmth, and the kindness of its host. We spent two tranquil nights in this lovingly restored kominka, where every beam and corner seemed to whisper stories of the past, yet the comfort and thoughtful amenities made us feel completely at home.

From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us as friends, sharing the history of the house and town, arranging details that turned our stay into pure magic. He helped us discover the flavors of Amayl next door for lunch, and both nights invited 稲米舎’s master chef, 上野誠広, to cook within the walls of the house. Each dish, made with fresh local ingredients, was not just a meal but an artful memory — flavors that linger in both heart and soul.

The days unfolded with simple joys — table games, sparklers under the night sky, a bonfire’s gentle glow, and even fishing by the water with the gear he prepared. Every moment felt rare, intimate, and alive. And as we departed on an early morning train, he surprised us with pastries and coffee — the sweetest farewell, a gesture we will never forget.

I was walking by with my wife and we saw this beautiful, olden-days building. Takumi, the owner, noticed us admiring the architecture and he came outside and beaconed us to come and have a look. We had the pleasure of being toured around the establishment by him since customers hadn't arrived yet. What a beautiful building and relaxing atmosphere. And with a neat Goemon-style onsen too. We wished we could stay but we already had accommodation booked. We told Takumi we were in Kuki to learn to fish but our host said it wasn't possible due to the weather forecast being rainy. Takumi was very kind and lent us his rods and showed us how to fish in the bay for free! What a wonderful person! I hope many people find their way to this peaceful place, full...

Really tastefully preserved house with modern facilities! The hosts were so meticulous and thoughtful in ensuring guests have a unique experience.
