After a thrilling day of skiing and engaging in snowball fights at Fujiten, we made our way to Fuji Mihana Resort in the evening. Upon our arrival, we were delighted to find that traditional kimonos had been provided for our family members to wear during the seafood buffet dinner. The buffet offered a comprehensive variety of dishes, each more scrumptious than the last especially the king crab.

Following our meal, we decided to unwind at the resort's indoor onsen. The experience was truly relaxing, though we couldn't help but imagine how much better it would have been if the onsen had been outdoors with a larger area to enjoy.

On the following Monday, we were fortunate enough to catch a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji from our room at 6 AM. This picturesque sight made our morning special as we prepared ourselves for breakfast. We continued to savor the stunning view of Mount Fuji while enjoying our breakfast, making the experience even more memorable.

Before heading to the 5th Station of Mount Fuji, we took the time to capture the resort's outdoor views and enjoyed a leisurely walk...

As we touched down Japan, we were driven 3½ hours to an outskirt resort called Mihana Resort a luxurious getaway in the outskirts of Japan, a 3 ½ star rated hotel. This well known traditional Japanese hospitality is just a short drive to Mount Fuji the main purpose of our visit. The breathtakingly natural surroundings are often associated with hot springs known locally as 'onsen', offering guests the chance to experience relaxation in natural thermal baths, believed to have healing properties.

The rooms set blending traditional Japanese architecture with modern comforts, providing tatami flooring, futon bedding, and panoramic views of lush landscapes of picturesque Mount Fuji.

Mihana Resort also features exquisite dining options highlighting both Japanese cuisine and seasonal menus incorporating local ingredients. Activities at the resort may include cultural experiences and nature walks in nearby scenic areas. Overall, Mihana

Resort provides a tranquil retreat that is different from the ordinary adventures you have experienced in the past. Dive into the unknown...

Stayed here for the night while on a group tour. The day before was cold & foggy. We could see nothing on our cruise on the Lake Ashi.|Dinner was good with a wide variety. There was also Alaskan crabs on the table. Each sitting was for an hour. There was at least 3 sittings. The hotel was jam packed with tour groups. Our standard room was adequate size. It faced the front garden which had a beautiful bonsai on a horizontal tree branch. |We woke up early to have breakfast on the 10th level. We came out of the lift & was greeted with the amazing panorama view of Mt Fuji. There was a viewing area outside the hall where we could view & take photos to our heart content. |I have never seen Mt Fuji so close & clear. This view alone is worth the while to stay here. |The hotel had a small onsen. Wifi...

a culinary and visual delight, with Mount Fuji stealing the show. The ninth-floor restaurant is a highlight, serving exquisite Japanese dishes like fresh sashimi and delicate tempura, all while you gaze at Fuji’s majestic peak at sunrise—pure magic on a clear day. The onsen on the third floor pairs a soothing soak with that iconic view, making every bite and moment unforgettable. The traditional rooms add a cozy touch, though the resort can get busy with tour groups, and nearby dining options are scarce. Still, the stunning Fuji backdrop and refined flavors make this a top spot for a serene, scenic meal.
