Draconian hotel rules - lovely lobby lounge with views to Mt Fuji (at least when the weather allows) but NO eating or drinking allowed!? Staff quick to move anyone along if they want to sit in a group and use the facility for anything other than sitting. No bar, but a nicely stocked vending machine - but where to enjoy the drink? A few of us gathered around the vending machine area (lobby lounge, the only other suitable spot being forbidden) and were approached quickly by staff saying we were being too loud. Ok, dinner time (the hotel is in an isolated location and dinner was included in the tour) but drinks confiscated on entering the dining room. Even though purchased in the hotel. Really enjoy one night stayed at this hotel, the room was just quite spacious for me only, but my friend told me that they found it a little bit crowd with 2 persons. The view was so stunning, unfortunately the Mt.Fuji still shy to show up :). But we still happy just by wearing Yukata provided by the hotel and took pics at the backyard with mesmerizing scenery.
