This is a fantastic spot for solo camping—especially on a quiet weekday. I brought my car, set up a single tent, and pitched a canopy (tarp). The entire area is right by the river, and the sound of birdsong fills the air all day. At night, it’s peacefully silent, which made for a super relaxing stay. There’s a great hiking trail nearby too, which adds a little adventure to the chill atmosphere. The facilities were clean and well maintained, the staff were really friendly, and the whole place had a calm, welcoming vibe. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single downside—everything was perfect. A few tips if you’re planning a visit: try to check in early to get the most out of the experience. You’ll need to take your trash home with you, but there is a dedicated spot for BBQ ashes. And don’t stress too much if you forget something—the shop on-site is well-stocked and the folks there are happy to help. Highly recommend this spot for a laid-back, nature-filled escape.

Scenery and the river is nice. but the campground itself is cramped and is cluttered with unrelated equipment which takes away from the ambience. It makes the campground look like a construction site's parking lot. Not enough toilets, most of which are 和式. Bungalows look more like apocalyptic survival shelters more than anything with charm. Kind of expensive for what you get.

I had an unforgettable magical time in Noro campsite and the main reason was the team and Noro himself! They were so kind and welcoming, they treated me like a family and they all got inside my heart deeply. , They are wonderful people and the view is amazing, there is even a waterfall to go to from the camp (20min). Highly recommend! I wish to go there again soon

We really love Aonoharanoro Lodge Camping Ground ! The owners, Ayako and Noro san are very nice, we have been cycling the whole evening to the place and they still waiting for us until almost 11 pm. The camp ground contains all necessary facilities which include, coin drinks machine, snacks, well-equipped toilet, 300 yen for 3 minutes hot shower, water, washing areas, and nice owners that are always ready to help you. They also offer to charge all power banks for us for free of charge. There are manu areas that you can take nice photos and if you visit the place during summer, it would be heaven. The price is at 2,500 yen for duo campinh which we are really happy and have enjoyable time ! Really...

Noro Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. We arrived as bicycle tourists and had a challenging time arriving before the official camp hours closed. We messaged Noro Lodge ahead of time letting them know we would be late. Although we were worried we would be turned away they welcomed us.

After a long day biking from Fuji their kindness was heartwarming.

The facilities are very clean and the staff are welcoming. The sites are excellent for the price and the other campers were very respectful!

Thank you Noro Lodge for treating 2 Canadians on...
