Okayama Ikoi no Mura — Hotel in Setouchi

We travel with a dog, so are always happy to find a place that allows dogs to stay. There are two cabins set away from the main hotel for people who have dogs. The cabins are large (two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, and a bath) and clean. The furnishings are dated, but as we were only there for one night, that was okay.||||Our plan came with one hour in a private hot springs bath. This was wonderful. The public baths are nice, too.||||The food was not great. One of our dinners was not completed properly (no sauce put in the hotpot chicken so the chicken was dry and tasteless) and it lacked the freshness that one comes to expect in a meal served in a Japanese hotel, ryokan, or minshyuku. ||||It is quite out of the way from most places you would travel, but if you are in the area and are with a pet, it is a good...

大晦日の家族旅行で宿泊しました。

先ずは良い点から ・瀬戸内海と島々が一望出来るロケーションは、素晴らしいの一言です。　天候にも恵まれ最高の景色の初日の出を家族と見れたのは、一生忘れません。 ・スタッフの方々が一所懸命でした。　フロントの方、動物を飼育していた方、レストランの方、繁忙期ですが頑張ってる感が伝わってきました。

不満点 ・色々と片付けて欲しい。玄関や中庭に散らばった木材、ホース、プランター、砂利、タイルなどなどは、旅行者には関係無い物かと。 古いとか壊れたのはしょうがないですが、片付け無いのは別の話では。 ・夜食の提供が遅過ぎる。夜食開始時間を指定されたけど、レストランはその時間を1〜2分過ぎてから開いた時点で？？部屋ごとのテーブルには料理は配膳されてはいましたが、明らかに品数が少なく感じ？？ひと通り食べ終わって部屋に戻るかなというタイミングで、カキフライの配膳が始まり、食べ終わってもう出ないなという頃に年越しそばの配膳が始まり、食べ終わって10分位してから、デザート出しますの声。デザートはいただかず部屋に戻りました。宿泊客数に対しての調理スタッフの数か経験値が足りな過ぎと感じました。夜食の品書きが無いので全容が不明だったし、遅れて出るならその旨をお客様に伝えるべきかと。 ・風呂の湯量が少ない　他の方のクチコミにも有りましたが、明らかに浅過ぎると思います。湯船の底に砂状の物があったりと、掃除しているのかなと疑問に思いました。 ・部屋のTVにアンテナ線が無かった！衝撃でした。映る訳無いですよね。スタッフの方に対応して貰いましたが？？です。
