Hisuruma Camping Ground — Hotel in Shibukawa

One of our favourite campsites to date. Very laid back with lenient check in and check out. First come, first served. People arrive as early as 5 am to get the best site. The sites aren't marked out so you can take as large (within reason) or as small a space as is needed. There are no showers and very few facilities apart from the excellent playground. There is only one washing up area for the whole campsite. But it is a really picturesque area and the campsite manager is about the most laid back we've ever met. Lots of fun...

Awesome experience, lots of green with the sound of running water from the river 👏🏼 can enjoy both camping or one-day BBQ, it's inexpensive and the owner of the place (an old man) is really nice and helpful.
