Ichinose — Hotel in Susono

When we reach the Susono station, it was around 5pm, we managed to get the hotel staff to fetch us from the station to the hotel. it is around 10 - 15 min car ride from the station. ||||The staff even cleaned the wheels of our luggages before helping us shifting it to our rooms. Can you imagine cleaning 7 luggages wheels one by one? Take about professionalism. ||||Although the staff spoke minimal english, we still managed to communicate via gestures and simple english. ||||The dinner was superb, it was my first time having a traditional japanese cuisine and i really enjoyed it. The sashimi were fresh and dishes were very tasty on its own. ||||After dinner, Onsen / 温泉 time! The onsen are separated by gender. It felt very clean and comfortable. During my visit, i went to level 2 in the evening. The next day, the male onsen is at level 1. Apparently the onsens are alternated everyday.||The 王将風呂 felt like i was in a garden, while 露天風呂 is a outdoor onsen.||||All in all i could really feel the warmth and hospitality from the service of the staff which made us regret not staying more nights at this...

All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the food was luxurious. The onsen is lovely (there are indoor and outdoor onsen). The garden attached to the hotel is beautiful, as is the surrounding countryside. There are lots of interesting places to visit, which you can get to from Mishima. Mishima itself is also worth visiting.

On our last day they took a picture of us in front of the sign with our name and they gave us a delicious fruit dessert, which were nice touches.
