a lovely spot for a nature-filled escape with incredible views of Mount Fuji. The campgrounds are well-maintained, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful, especially on clear days when you can see the mountain in full view. It’s a peaceful environment, perfect for anyone looking to disconnect from city life and enjoy the outdoors.
The camping facilities are basic but comfortable. The cabins and tents are clean, and there’s enough space to relax and enjoy the natural setting. They provide the essentials you need, but keep in mind this is a more rustic experience—don't expect luxury amenities. For anyone camping for the first time or wanting a simple setup, it’s an ideal choice. However, seasoned campers might find the facilities a bit minimal.
Activities around the campsite are a nice mix, including hiking trails and open spaces for barbecues. The trails are manageable for beginners, and you can find spots with beautiful scenic views of the forests and mountains. There’s also a nice community feel among the campers, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They provide good information on local spots to explore and are attentive if you need...
Read moreIf you are not used to camping, this place may be a shock however it is a nice place to stay and spend time. There are not shopping around, and the campsite is pretty small. Once you arrive to the spot, I highly doubt you will leave as there is only a zoo and amusement park near. This was my family’s first time glamping. We have always been camping outdoors so we are used to the environment. The staff were very nice, and the rooms were excellent! The bathroom is separate in the barbecue tent rather than the sleeping tent. There are many different backyard activities for kids to such as slack lining, hammocks, board games to borrow, a guitar and many other fun things to purchase such as fireworks. They have amazing food, our family had steak, chicken and sausages with soup, rice, salad and marinated veggies. It was a great experience. The on sen is indoors and only fits one person in at a time. This is difficult with families, as you may only be able to take a maximum of 2 adults in there. It is pretty much just a shower with a hot tub within it. My family and I enjoyed it very much as it was nice to reconnect...
