My wife and I have had a 4-night stay at this J Hotel Rinku Room #814 from 21 to 25 October 2025.||The Hotel is located next to the Rinku Tokoname Station (which is only a short 5-minute local train ride to and from the Chubu Centrair International Airport) in the small Tokoname City, which is about 45 kilometres to the Nagoya City via a 45-minute ¥860 train ride. ||The Hotel is also about a 300-metre walk to a big 2-storey Aeon Mall Tokoname that houses the Aeon Style Mall and Supermarket, many nice Japanese restaurants, and a good variety of shops that sell fashion and sport wears. It is a must-go for people who love to shop in Aeon Mall.||The 11-storey Hotel does not look new but it is certainly not old and rundown. In fact, it is clean and well maintained. It has a peaceful and quiet surrounding. The hotel staff are polite and helpful, and they are able to communicate in English. It also provides free parking for hotel guests at a first-come-first serve basis. So we are grateful and thankful that we had enjoy free parking for 4 days!||The hotel room is NOT the standard typical small room type; in fact it is surprisingly spacious and very clean. It has a proper small wardrobe, a proper vanity top, a proper bath and shower room that is separated from the WC, and it has strong water pressure for comfortable showers everyday. Although the bed is not too big, but the mattress and pillows are comfortable for our liking. And, we were given room with a nice sea view!||The Hotel provides daily breakfast buffets with reasonably good varieties, so it does provide us a good start each day. ||At SGD S$135 per night for a spacious room with breakfast, we find it value for money and we will surely choose to stay here if we travel to...
Read moreMy family stayed in the Hotel J Rinku for a night in August 2017. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the Chubu Airport and the giant Aeon Mall. I booked two twin rooms, that were spacious and really clean. Both rooms gave a direct view over the Aeon Mall. They were absolutely quiet at night. All traffic, airplane, and human sounds were well-insulated. The beds were comfortable. Slippers, yukata, and other standard room amenities were all provided. The staff could command basic English though appeared a bit cold, and I was required to pay when checking-in. It was okay to me as I did not expect any warm services. The hotel buffet breakfast was rather small in food choice, however adequate to us. Car park fee was totally waived for hotel guests. By driving, from this hotel, it took about 35 minutes to the Legoland; and about 50 minutes to the Nagashima Resort. My twin rooms were booked through a Japanese website at a special price (at about 22k yen totally, with breakfast included) and I found the offer was really value-for-money. This no-frills styled hotel has nothing fantastic or luxurious, but with its big, clean, and very comfortable and well-equipped rooms plus the closeness to the Chubu airport and a massive shopping and entertainment complex at a bargaining rate, I was satisfied. I recommend this hotel to all travelers who shall use the Chubu airport in early morning or...
Read moreThis is an almost convenient hotel with reasonable viking breakfast. But, it does not have any washing machines or dryers for it's clients. You must ask for bottle opener at the desk if you want one maybe because most drinks now are screw top or snap open ring type. But they will supply you with one if you want a bottle type drink with a cap||It is close to the airport, and AEON mall is within walking distance. It is clean, seems in good condition, the rooms are a good size and the windows are large. The bathroom separates the toilet sink room from the shower/bath. The staff knows enough English and are polite and well mannered. Wifi is in the room and you can get BBC world news in English on the television. It has (in the single rooms) a small bar with hot water and a refrigerator. ||||Route Inn which is more convenient for because it is near a main rail station in Tokoname which has more trains to the airport and Nagoya, is usually booked but it does have washing machines and dryers.||The rooms there...
