Hyakkenjaya Camping Ground — Hotel in Tokyo

Have to write a review on this. I did not stay at this location. However, I did have it booked from 25 to 26 July. I received a phone call after 2100, 6 days prior to my reservation. They spoke Japanese, so I could not understand them. I had a translator call back for me a couple days later, and he told me that my reservation was moved to the 23-24 because they were full on the 25th. I hope this was a lost in translation issue, because moving a reservation on someone in not the right thing to do.

I found another place in time. But if I didn't, my sons birthday celebration would have been ruined.

この時期キャンプ場は賑わってますね。 DAYCampでお世話になりました百軒茶屋は限られた人数で丁度良い間隔で密を避けることができるので、ゆっくり過ごすことができました！ 川の水は冷たいですが、綺麗ですよ〜(^.^) 川幅や深さなど、お子さん連れの方が安心して楽しめますね。 オーナーさんも優しく対応も良いので、会話を楽しんでくださいね。 泊まる方が優先になるので、日曜日に日帰りで行く際などプチ的な時間帯午後からなど交渉してくださいね。 バーベキュー台は無料で貸していただけます、テーブルや椅子も完備されてましたので、必要最低限のギア持込で楽しめますね。水場も目の前にあり大変便利でした！ 少しの時間でもオススメできる素晴らしい百軒茶屋さんです！！！

Campgrounds are crowded this time of year. The Hyakken Chaya where we stayed for DAYCamp allowed a limited number of people to avoid the density at just the right spacing so we could spend some quality time! The river water is cold but beautiful! ^) The width and depth of the river make it safe and enjoyable for those with children. The owner is kind and responsive, so enjoy the conversation. Since overnight guests have priority, please negotiate petit time afternoons, such as when going on a day trip on Sundays. The barbecue table can be rented free of charge, and tables and chairs were provided, so you can enjoy yourself with the minimum amount of gear you need to bring.
