Yama no Furusato-mura Camping Ground — Hotel in Tokyo

It was a wonderful camping side near by Okutama lake areas, with is managed by Tokyo-Ome county offices and well maintained,stocks and customers service was provided fully informed for campers. Party of 4 for 2 nights was paid under ¥2000 total( ¥200/pers/ night) it was a best offer for camping today's markets. So many avail lots for put down tents , water, fire pits and restroom in good care. Free shower from 3pm-9pm. Only thing needs to prepare ahead is gate will be locked from 4pm until 9am each day. So if you prefer to stay at camp for the trip then this camp side is the best. Parking is little far away but the officers will offer to pick up and drive you back to the office side. Feel very lucky to have stumbled across this great site. Unbelievably cheap campsite only 200¥ per person per night for a tent site. There is an outdoor camp kitchen with sink, light, rubbish bins as well as a charging point to charge phone. You have to park your car about 5 mins away in the closest car park. The gate closes from 4:30pm-9pm and you can’t exit/enter so make sure you bring food and everything you need for the night. There is a new toilet block near the reception which has modern clean western toilets, however I just used the Japanese tradition toilets near my campsite during the night.

I have been to this site a few times. The area has great day hikes, camp grounds and fire rings. Great for big or small groups. The staff are AWESOME!!! I would recommend having a Japanese speaker with you to make things a bit smoother as it is hard on anyone trying to do 'business' in a foreign language.
