Kyukamura Takenokaigan Camping Ground — Hotel in Toyooka

My family has stayed at this campsite four times. It is a favorite of ours to come back to. It is well-maintained and clean, and the sites are spacious and not too close to each other. (By Japan standards.)

What we like best is that a 5-minute walk down the hill is a nice small beach with clean water. It is the perfect place to relax and never crowded when we have been there. (Usually late July.) Our idea of camping is to set up and then relax, and this beach is the perfect place to enjoy the water and a good book.

Up the hill is a hotel which was an onsen. The last time we were here the showers at the campsite where ¥100 and the onsen was ¥700, so we usually use the showers. However, the onsen is nice and has a great view.

Staff is nice and friendly, and their are carts to transport equipment to sites. (We didn't stay in the section with parking right next to the site because it is further away from the beach.)

The campground offers rental tents, though we go with our own stuff.

There is a small store about 5 minutes DRIVE from the campground, and it is well stocked. Other than spices for cooking and special drinks (lemonade), we just buy everything right there.

There is a large beach just 10 minutes away, which is great if you like more people. Also, their is snorkeling and kayaking in the area.

まず、オートサイトは、 それぞれに水道と電源が付いているので とても便利です。 サイトの大きさは可もなく不可もなく 標準的な形でした。

フリーサイトは、車を駐車場に置いて そこから施設のリヤカーを借りて 各サイトまで運ぶシステムですが、 高台にあったり、坂道の途中に位置していたり、 荷物が多いキャンパーには、かなり厳しいです。 しかも、サイトの大きさは、かなり狭いので

今流行りの、大型ティピーテントなどは 設営できないと思いますので、 予約時に要確認です！！

しかし、施設内に大浴場を 有している宿も併設していて、 歩いて五分ほどなので、とても魅力的です。 ここに行くのも坂はありますが。

中学生以上大人が510円、幼児4歳以上が 310円で利用できました。

あと、プライベートビーチもありますので、 夏のキャンプは、バッチリです。

透明度抜群で、砂浜と磯場とがありますので、 海のシーズンは、何泊しても飽きません！

ただ、ここも浜まで、かなりの勾配の坂道が、 400mほど続きますので、 大きな荷物や、クーラーボックスを 持っていかれる場合は、 体力のある方でないと、 途中でリタイヤ？してしまうかも(^^) 砂浜の目の前に、ビーチ専用の トイレ、シャワーの建物があり、 シャワーは冷水のみですが無料で使えます。 トイレは掃除が行き届いていて とってもキレイで、 気持ちよーく利用できました。

プライベートビーチというだけあって、 全く混みませんし、 ゆーっくり海を満喫できます！

総じて、大きなテントではないテントで 海が好きで、お風呂が好きなファミリーだと オススメのキャン...

主人と二人でオートサイト使わせて頂きました。 水道はシンクが無いタイプでした。 広さは狭いと言ってた人いてたけど、我が家はポップアップテントとタープだから問題無かったです。 予約した時にコロナで海水浴は禁止ですと言われてたけど、海岸まで行ったらそこそこ人いてました。 海岸までの坂道はきつかった。 フリーサイトや手ぶらサイトはその坂道にあって、駐車場に車置いてリヤカーかカートでの荷物運びになるけど、私には無理だと思った。 オートサイト悪くは無かったけど、マナーの悪い人達がいてなかなか寝れなかったのが残念だった。 お子達は9時過ぎてから花火するし、大人の声がうるさかった。 キャンプ場自体は、サイトに水道と電源もあったし、トイレは近くで良かったのと、温水シャワー3分100円や洗濯機30分200円乾燥機30分100円があったから良かったです。 帰りに峠越えして城崎温泉♨️にも行きました。 竹野にも温泉あるけど、駐車場代が高いとなってた...
