Asahi Kogen Genki-Mura — Hotel in Toyota

We went here during winter season because of the snow sled. We did have a lot of fun especially my son. There will be rentals for any equipment you need like sled,jackets,glove, boots and even toys for the little kids to play with the snow. Sled rentals are about ¥600.

There is also a restaurant at the main building(Genkikan) and some food stalls too like grilled wild boar,deer and duck. A lot of vending machines for drinks.

Too bad at the time we went there the petting zoo is closed. But looking forward to go back here since they have a camping area.

There’s plenty of parking area for everyone. Going here is also easy by car. And before going here at winter time, be sure to check their website first for road conditions(snow or icy roads) so that you would know if its safe specially to those wo dont have winter tires.

Hiking is fun too. You would hear birds chirping and the sound of the forest making you forget the busy life in the city. About 3-5km hike only.

Hopefully we can go back next long vacation...

My family went camping here this week. Lots of good points about this camp site: -Easy to get to from Nagoya, no need for crowded highways and tolls. -Really nice camp area on wood decks, clean and comfortable. Every camp lot has some privacy and you aren't bothered by noise from neighbors due to the distance. -Lots of fun activities for the kids, such as a petting zoo, play area, sports equipment rentals, telescope gazing, etc. -Staff were good and the prices were very fair. We will be back next...

去年来て虜になりました。 冬の雪ソリ遊びで利用しています。 入場料１日￥500/１人は、安いですね。 雪ソリゲレンデは波コブがあり楽しめます。波コブが高くなるとコースの途中に常備整備員さん居て、波コブを削って整備していて暮れます。 Ｗ Wishbone(洗濯板)状態の雪ソリゲレンデは恐怖心を乗り越えれれば楽しめます。 今年は暖冬でコース幅は、全面ではなく2/3程でしたが、距離は去年と同じ長さなので十分に楽しめました。 去年は動く歩道と右側に階段の通路がありましたが、今年は更に動く歩道と雪ソリゲレンデの間に通路が出現していました。 滑る姿を撮影出来ますよ！ ウェア/スノーブーツ/スノーグローブのレンタルもありました。スノーブーツは￥2,000で売店で販売していました。 ちびっこゲレンデで遊べる、バケツセットや雪かき、スノーボール作るヤツ(赤色と青色の2色)販売しています。 去年はソリを購入、今年はスノーボール作るヤツを買いました。 ズボンの裾から侵入する雪を防ぐブーツカバーも購入しました。時々、かかとのゴムが外れて無いかチェックして挙げましょう！f(^^; ちょっとした売店(期待はしないでねf(^^;)、レストラン、出店(休日のみ営業)、自販機、トイレ、更衣室、休憩所、ゴミ箱、屋外の丸テーブル席多数あります。シートあると地ベタ座り出来ます。喫煙エリアもあります。道路挟んだ雪ソリゲレンデの反対側に、ローラー滑り台が２基ありました。滑車ロープ(!?)も１基ありました。牛舎もあります。「今年は、ちびっこゲレンデが無いって」と、なっていましたが、有りました。常時氷が降って来るエリアは人気です。降って来た氷をソリで運び、山をつくり、ちょっとした滑り台をつくり遊びました。その後、トンネルを掘りました。ソリに乗せたチビを通し、大人のメタボのオラでも通れる様に拡張して、通れました(笑)。フード付きのウェアがあると、首元から雪が入って来ないので、安心です。...
