We had an amazing stay at Palcall Tsumagoi Ski Resort! The skiing was exceptional with stunning runs and breathtaking views. The resort is still a work in progress, but there’s a lot of exciting growth happening. The staff is full of energy and really believe in the vision for the place, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

A major highlight was Nok, the manager. She went above and beyond for us, even on her day off! When we realised the shuttle timings on the website were incorrect and we’d risk missing our train, Nok personally arranged the shuttle to be moved earlier, ensuring we made it on time. Her friendly, energetic personality truly stood out, and the resort is incredibly fortunate to have her.

The staff were consistently attentive to our needs throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear they’re invested in giving guests the best experience possible.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, there are a few areas for improvement. The only dining option is the buffet, priced at 5,500 yen per person, which didn’t meet our expectations. It would be great if they offered a la carte options similar to lunch options. There is a small shop with snacks however which we enjoyed for dinner on some nights. Another minor issue was the onsen — the view is obscured by steam, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the beautiful view of the volcano.

I would like to express how appreciated and impressed I am during my stay in your hotel. This is our 3rd visit to Japan and Pascal is the 9th hotel we have staying in Japan.
