It’s truly a gem. I was so lucky to come across Yukie-san’s home. It’s really a rare place, Yukie-san opens her beautiful home to guests from all over the world to admire and embrace the wonder of Japanese countryside. I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the highlight of my trip. It’s so peaceful away from the city huddle. The room is nice and spacious, looking over the beautiful mountains. Every morning you are woken up by cute birds singing and gentle sunshine. I wish I could stay here for longer. I cannot recommend enough. It’s absolutely amazing.

We had a wonderful stay here. This guesthouse is amazingly peaceful and quiet - and the view we had whilst eating our breakfast was incredible. The breakfast itself was very tasty and the coffee was great! The hosts were lovely, provided suggestions and travel advice about sightseeing in the local area and speak English. I would 100% recommend this place, and a trip to the Akame 48 falls nearby

Highly recommend for people who want to experience Uda and surrounding spiritual paths in Nara (much more authentic and historic than popular tourist spots) All the attractions around are accessible by trains and bus. Breakfast was amazing and well-balanced. Kind owner who are willing to assist you with information on the area.

We stopped in Sambommatsu for one night on our way to visit the Akame 48 waterfalls. Yukie is a lovely host who will welcome you with tea and biscuit and who will love to talk to you about Japanese culture. Although the B&B is only a 10 min walk from the train station, Yukie and her husband were so kind to us up by car, due to the rain and our heavy backpacks. The house is kept in great care and having a nice homemade breakfast sitting in the garden or in the living room while looking at the mountains is a plus. In hindsight I wish I could have had more days to spend in Yukie’s house cause it was the perfect refuge from the chaos of Golden Week in Japan.|Definitely...

We were delighted to be accommodated in a genuine Japanese house near to the Muro-Ji temple.|Our stay was very comfortable, warm and relaxing. The view from the main dining/sitting space when the doors are open is incredible. Out host Yuki was very helpful and friendly. We were lucky to stay at such a peaceful spot. |We also walked on a 6km hike to Muro Ji- which visiting early is without tourists. |Recommended to anyone wanting to have a...
