For travelers used to sleek modern hotels, this cosy ryokan is definitely a different experience. One thing you will notice immediately is that the rooms don't comes with bathroom, just a sink for brushing teeth and washing face and a toilet bowl for nature calls. But it's no big deal as you will be pampering yourself at the ryokan onsen anyway... ||The walls are pine wood constructed, and you may experience some sounds as other occupants move about in the room upstairs. No it's no big deal as it mostly muted. ||The lobby has a range of knick-knacks and snacks for purchase and also many game and drinks machines. ||This ryokan also requires all guests leaving their footwear in the lockers at the lobby. Do standby 100 yen coin for the locker, which will be returned at end of usage. The onsen lockers also requires 100Y coin to activate but does not return the coin. ||So, frankly, no need to secure the locker , unless u want peace of mind. You walk around the ryokan with just your sock or bare feet. ||So what's great ? I like to think the onsen is pretty decent (though not those with great view). The star gazing at night is pretty awesome too...and the breakfast spread is lovely. ||Will I go back again to this ryokan ?...
