Faraseen apartments — Hotel in Amman

I stayed here back in June, when I arrived very late in the night into Jordan. What a lovely warm welcome I received! The accomodation sent a driver to pick me up from the airport and bring me to the apartments. I was brought up to my accomodation which was really lovely and more than needed for my short stay. It was pretty big actually. The polite and courteous staff member ensuring I had everything I needed as well as checking what time I wanted breakfast. A very simple but delicious breakfast was brought to my room the next morning and just what I needed after a long day of travelling the day/night before. I assumed when leaving I needed to pay (forgetting that I had given my authorisation via the booking site), so the staff were a bit confused why I was hanging around. They thought I had been unhappy with my stay and so put me into an office/sitting room and brought the manager/owner down- it was simply a language barrier. I explained I thought I still had to pay/check out but the owner/manager was a lovely gentleman who, explained it had already been sorted and so I could leave any time. What a lovely misunderstanding! It actually made for a nice travel memory, and despite staying in loads of hotels etc over the years, I will always remember my short stay here as a result.

The owner offered to arrange a taxi into the city centre but I had one booked already. The owner and staff insisted on me waiting in their lovely air conditioned building with fresh water and a cup of coffee while I waited on my taxi arriving. What a lovely, warm welcome to Jordan! The polite, courteous and friendly welcome was representative of my time in Jordan and repeated throughout the rest of my stay in the country. This is the best choice if your flight is really late at night or really early in the morning. It's really close by the airport. In our case, a guy from Faraseen Apartments came to pick us up at the airport at 12AM and in not even five minutes we were at the hotel. We easily paid through bank transfer. The day after, the Arena Car Rental (which is nearby) picked us up and it sped up the whole process. Our breakfast wasn't included but people at Faraseen Apartments were so kind to just offer us breakfast and it was a rich mix of savoury and sweet: eggs, falafel, bananas, juices, water, tomatoes, pudding.

We were three people. The room featured a king size bed, plus a sofa that turned into a flat bed. The room had aircon but we turned it to the heat mode because it was a cold night. The water pressure in the bathroom was perfect and it had a comfortable furniture to fit all the female products like shampoo, makeup... (often hotels forget this and you have nowhere to put your stuff). The room also had complimentary tea, coffee and water. Great wifi...

My husband and I stayed for one night. A great location from the airport for arriving late and not having to drive far. We had free pickup and drop off to/from the airport with no complications. The room was clean, simple and had a good shower. It was also very quiet except if people were in the hallway. However, what made this place exceptional was the host. Noor was incredibly helpful and we had a prebooked car for the following morning. Our host Noor was on the phone making sure that the car was in fact ready and that there were no complications. He then provided a free shuttle (which we weren't expecting) back to the airport the following morning to pick up our car. If I was arriving late into Queen Alia airport I would definitely stay here again. Note: if you want fancy this isn't it. If you want something, cheap, clean and convenient,...
