I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the newly renovated Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba with my husband and toddler. What an unforgettable stay we had.

The resort: We stayed in a King Suite with Seaview and I was blown away by the interiors and most of all.. the view. We had a huge double balcony to enjoy the beautiful views (mountains and sea 😍). Sunset from the balcony is just stunning. We were so thrilled to discover how family friendly the resort is. The team provided a big, new travel cot in our bedroom. There were playgrounds, a kids pool and kids club with daily activities. The private beach was just stunning - the sand was so soft. The water was so clear. The team at the beach likely provided my toddler with beach toys to borrow which was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed ordering food and drinks on the beach too that were brought straight to our sun loungers. The atmosphere was so much fun on the beach - we watched boats sail past with music and entertainment. There were so many swimming pools to choose from - including a rooftop pool and jacuzzi! Again, with gorgeous views and a bit more of a quiet, discreet vibe. I loved how the main buffet restaurant goes into a huge courtyard in the middle of the resort - especially with the cooler climate right about now it was perfect for alfresco dining :)

Food: There are a few food outlets to choose from in the resort but we only had time for breakfasts and dinners at the buffet restaurant which boasts a huge selection of fresh foods. They had high chairs available too for babies/toddlers which was really helpful for dining with our little boy. We enjoyed breakfast in the room one morning and wow - what a spread! We had it served up on the balcony and with that morning sunrise… it was a really special morning.

Service: The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of the entire weekend. They really couldn’t do enough to ensure we were happy and comfortable. I really appreciated the warm welcome and attentiveness after such a long car journey. It made all the difference.

Location: I cannot stress how incredible this location is. EVERYTHING was within walking distance. The town was buzzing and the touristy spots were definitely worth exploring because you can easily pop back to the resort if needed (ie. When the toddler needs a break/naptime). Considering the location, there were no audible disturbances at night - which is quite rare for a centrally located resort.

Overall: I’d say the only con was we were only there for the weekend and the stay left us wanting more :) thank you to the whole team for such an...

For the second time this summer, we (my wife, my 7 year old kid and I) visited Movenpick Aqaba.||The hotel is still under renovation (only the chalet part is operating) although renovation was expected to be completed on the 15th of September which encouraged us to book this trip as to enjoy staying at the brand new renovated hotel (we booked this trip on August & Mr. Wassem contacted us 10 days before we head to Aqaba to tell us that renovation period was extended as to renew more parts of the hotel & it might be finished at mid October).|In all cases, since we were there at June, we have no worries about the quality of services during the renovation (it's always great as usual) So we kept our booking as scheduled.||We were welcomed by their great professional security team at front of the new temporary reception (thank you Ms. Sanaa' who welcomed us with her warm smile) then we head to the reception. there, we were welcomed by Mr. Muhannad who facilitated our check in and offered us a very nice, spotless clean, well furnished chalet with a great view. (a special thank to Ms. Amani as well who helped us during our stay).||The pools and beach area are spotless clean with great services and plenty of towels and sunbeds, thanks to the beach and pools team.(Mr. abdalraziq, Mr. Amer, Mr. Mahmoud and Mr.Mousa) and the lifeguards staff (Hassan, Mohammed, Mohammed and fabio) & the new lifeguards( Qasem & Abdalmajed who really blend with the Movenpick atmosphere and adopt the Movenpick spirt so fast), my little kid feels safe and enjoys all around the area because of you, thank you.||The hotel have an Animation team which offers many activities for the kids like cooking, face painting, sand activates like making sand castle and they offer an evening beach movie for the kids during weekends, my little kid really enjoyed all these activities, thanks to Ms. Dayana.||The breakfast and Dinner are served at al Shatt restaurant, the food is very delicious, clean, fresh and very well served.|The restaurant team make all they can to satisfy the customers, thanks Mr. Mohammed Omar, chief Ali, chief ahmad, chief Fadi and all the restaurant staff.||We had a great stay there with many memorable moments.||Thanks Movenpick team for the great moments you offered us & a special thank to Mr. Hisham Twaisi who where ever I go, I find him inspecting and managing the services that are provided to the customers.||Highly recommended|Great...

So basically me and my mom were on vacation to Aqaba beautiful place right? my mom found this hotel online and it was pretty nice with the discounts and all that but sheesh that secuirty lady is mean she couldn't let food inside the hotel from out, and everytime we onout the hotel to check the wonderful city of Aqaba and then return home yeah?

My mom got really mad and threw the whole entire remains of my roasted chicken box at her and then shouted at her she also told the receptionists ,the manager and all that.

What i liked the most was the party they threw for the kids there baby shark was actually so funny being played in 2021 i liked the pools aswell also the lifeguard there was very nice he also taught me a little on how to swim best life guard ever.

Im questioning: what the heck was that secret barricaded door?!

I cant forget about the food bro, i mean we only had breakfast everyday we dint pay to have dinner and lunch but oh my god was the breakfast heavenly compliments to the chefs and waiters/waitresses

Now the staff was very cool, friendly, nice except the security lady at the entrance i told you about!

Im just sad that it did not have wifi i had to bring a small carrying wifi router that held 4G but it was nice.

now how come i forgot about the view!? well to be honest we did not get a room with a balcony witch my mom was annoyed from that she even asked one of the next door lady on how she switched rooms but when the receptionist said no im sorry we cant do that etc etc etc.

personally i had a good experience but please fire that security lady oh my goodness...

Thank you, Mövenpick Aqaba, for an unforgettable family vacation! From the moment we arrived, the experience was full of pleasant surprises. On our first night, dinner, originally planned as an open buffet, was moved to in-room service. While this was an unexpected change, Mr. Shareef Ayoub personally ensured that our dining experience would be exceptional—and it was! The dinner exceeded all expectations, and we were delighted by the extra care taken to make it special. The room upgrade we received was also a wonderful addition, adding to the comfort and luxury of our stay. This hotel is incredibly family-friendly, with dedicated areas for children and thoughtful touches, like the painted dishes at the breakfast buffet, which made it fun for our kids. The entertainment team was amazing, keeping the kids happily engaged while parents could relax and enjoy their time. Special thanks to Ms. Zaid Shallan and the housekeeping team, who treated us like royalty. Their friendliness, constant availability, and attention to detail truly made our stay feel extraordinary. A special mention to Chef Omar, whose humble demeanor and personal attention to ensure our satisfaction, especially with my son, was the icing on the cake. His efforts made our dining experiences truly memorable. For families seeking a place where every member can enjoy their vacation, Mövenpick Aqaba is the ideal choice. While the price may be higher than other hotels, the level of hospitality, service, and joy you receive is absolutely priceless. Thank you, Mövenpick Aqaba, for a remarkable stay!

This was one of our best experiences in Jordan. A truly first class hotel and staff. We arrived tired and dusty from our time in Petra and Wadi Rum and were blown away by how immaculate the facilities were. The hotel itself is beautiful, you will feel like you've entered a medieval Islamic palace with an amazing reception and beautiful mosaics. The pool area in particular was a quiet oasis with great facilities and easy access to a private beach. The room was incredible with a great view. Very well cleaned on a daily basis with nice bathroom facilities. My wife made good use of the spa by getting a massage there and had a great experience. The hotel also had a great kids play area by the pool which my son enjoyed. All the staff were very friendly to him so it's a great place for families. The best part was all the staff. The ladies at reception were very friendly and Informative, the security staff and luggage handlers very accommodating and the pool staff all very respectful and helpful. We left our iPad at the poolside, didn't realise until hours later - but a quick call to reception and they found it within five minutes. We felt 100% satisfied staying here and would highly recommend the experience to anyone.
