Magic Bedouin Star — Hotel in Aqaba

This is a truly magical place. We stayed here for 5 whole(-some) days, and it was not nearly enough. The ride from the village to the camp was already breathtaking, but the camp itself is on an amazing spot. The view is absolutely gorgeous. Wadi rum is even more incredible than my immense high expectations could imagine, but the people here were even more incredible. All involved beduins were super nice and friendly and after little time felt like old friends to us. The "head" was better organised and clever than all the corporate bosses I ever had. Our tour guides found the perfect middle way between a lot of silent, enjoyfull moments and interesting, funny chat. And the food... Lunch and dinner were just amazing. We did a 4h jeep tour on the first day, 2 full day tours, one beautiful restday, and a day climbing on the perfect sandstone. We miss our time here very much and want to come back again as soon as possible. If you go to Jordan, do yourself an immense favour and come to magic bedouin star!!! And book the honeymoon suite... It's too romanic and beautiful...

We came to Wadi Rum on our quest to visit all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This is a place that you can truly experience if you stay at least one night in the desert and let the local bedouin guides take you around. The desert is vast and spectacular. Our camp was called Magic Bedouin Star and we were so happy we chose them. The entire family was friendly, funny, kind and generous. We shared some nice talks, we drank tea, we met other friendly guests in the camp. They also arranged a fantastic jeep tour through the main points of the desert. The tour ended with a gorgeous sunset, sitting on a carpet in the middle of the desert, having tea made over open fire. Dinner and breakfast buffet were served in the camp and we really enjoyed that special time, as we could interact with everyone.
