Okay first of all, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS CAMP! I was so disappointed because all the reviews before booking were so great. Here’s a list of what happened during my stay: NO HEATER! I was there in January so it was pretty cold. We asked like 3 times about the heater not working and they did nothing about it. The 3rd time we asked one of the guys working there and he said “we’ll come fix it after dinner” ok I figured maybe they’re busy right now, I walk in to the dining area and the workers are all lying down on their phones! WHILE IM STRUGGLING TRYING TO SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING!!! NO ACTIVITIES!!!? As soon as we arrived I asked about the horseback riding which was the main reason why I wanted to go to the desert. I ask about it and they said that the horses are not part of their camp but they will ask the guy who owns them about it and see when I can ride! OK first of all, WHY DO YOU LIST IT AS PART OF YOUR CAMP THEN????? I could’ve booked somewhere else where they had them. I never heard back from Nael about the activity, he disappeared after we payed him our stay. The food was not good at all. It was cold! When we walked in the dining area all the workers are just lying there on their phones and we didn’t know where the food was or where we could sit, we asked where the plates where and none of them answered our question. One of the guests told us because the workers were too busy on Facebook maybe? Be prepared to shower with COLD COLD WATER! maybe in the summer it’s nice bc of how hot it is but I was there during the winter and with no heater THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE! NO WIFI, this I understand because I know it’s the desert but I feel like it should be mentioned when we arrive. Our first day it was working fine then the next day I had no WiFi I had to walk all the way to where the reception is to be able to get some wifi. THEY TURN IT OFF just like they do with the AC/HEATER Pros: the camp is beautiful it’s clean and it really does catch your attention when you arrive but sadly that’s all they offer just the pretty view. Everything else is just a mess. The workers need training to be more professional and put more effort into this...
Read moreI'll be brief. Ask about all prices before even considering to book here.... And probably anywhere in wadi rum. Yes the rooms are cheap. However, they'll get you with food, and any activity. The minute you walk outside with them or ride their "jeeps" consider you're getting thrashed in prices. They don't have fixed prices. They'll charge you something and will charge another person a much much different fee. So before you even book, ask about the price. Also and more importantly, ask about the amenities in the room. They lost everything they can imagine but once you're there, there's absolutely nothing in the room. Just be careful. If you are renting a car (which is much cheaper then going with any of the people on the area) rent a jeep and follow Google navigation to all the spots. (You can also always follow all the jeeps that move together from one spot to another before each going back to their camp sites. Have fun. It's a great place to visit. Just stay 1 step ahead of the Bedouin. If necessary haggle the price. Offer less than half what they give you as a price and...
Read moreWhat a lovely experience. This is the best place to stay in Wadi Rum. The owners create one amazing and personal experience for you. The jeep tour is a must, communication is efficient and professional, the food is top-notch, special thanks to Chef Abu Eyad, lovely person. The camp is super clean, beautifully done, the mattress and pillows are 5 stars hotel quality. Everything is just perfect and well thought of. Our trip is super special because of the star of the camp, Abdulrahman, he is the best host, he takes care of customers as family members. We also met his brother Mohammad and their uncle Abu Osama, beautiful family, heart and soul. I will highly recommend this camp to everyone I know. The camp arranges Aqaba/Wadi Rim transport for a very reasonable fee and VIP service. Thank you for great...
