We were greeted by the site manager, Mr Barakat and we were welcomed with a coffee in the beautifully decorated Bedouin seating tent. All of the staff we encountered were all exceedingly friendly and helpful. We had arranged through the camp for a two hour 4x4 trip around the local area and a one hour camel ride for the afternoon. Both were very good experiences. There was also a hose riding option available in camp. The food was fabulous and it was interesting to be around when the food was deposited in a pit , fire lit, covered, then layered in sand and left to cook for four hours. The resultant food was great with lamb falling of the bone. The Arab coats in each room were needed after dark and really kept you warm. Good communal area outside, ideal for stargazing, sunset view around the back of the camp. ||Mr Barakat was really exceptional and attentive to visitors. Accomodation was very clean and super heavy blankets available in each room if the night temperature dropped. Breakfast was also included. Food was taken in a dedicated Dining Tent next to the Bedouin Sitting Tent used for relaxation and entertainment purposes and where tea and coffee were available at...

The place is good, hidden in a valley, surrounded by rocks. Tent is covered with knitted wool cover. The tent itself has a metal structure, do not expect to be stable one,it is not isolated from noise ,but suitable for a night or two. There is a water for showering not so hot,but still water. Room has duvets, plus extras, beds are large, air conditioning, clean linen, bathroom has clean towels, little bit worn/if you have extra towels ,need to pay/, toiletries.|Save electricity! It's all about solar energy.|Internet is quite good, for surprise. |Restaurant offers Good food, simple breakfast/but maybe depend on reservation/. We were presented at dinner a traditional dish cooked in a pit in the ground.|Coffee is nescafe from a jar. So you just pour hot water.|There are mainly soft drinks , we had non alcoholic beer for 5 jordan dinars.|Sunrise is unique adventure. |The camp is unpretentious on the way to Petra or back.|If you want, leave a a tip for the staff in the...

During my trip to Jordan with my father we had a 1-night stay in the Space Village Luxury Camp where we greeted by staff and a light lunch (which turned out to be a delicious and big lunch) was served. We were shown to our tent and I was surprised by the airco in a tent, for the rest the room was as expected and good. As we booked a jeep safari later in the afternoon we were alone in the camp and I was offered coffee by the manager Barakat. What a lovely man , we talked about life while sipping coffee...a lovely and relaxing afternoon in the desert. The Jeep Safari was good and the evening meal was amazing, the food was cooked in a pit underground for hours and the meat and vegetables tasted great! And then Barakat too us away to see the stars at night, what an experience!! Laying on my back enjoying the stars in full peace and quiet...a memorable moment. So all in all I had a fantastic time and a big shout out to Barakat who made the stay even...

Make sure you come on a sunny day. Otherwise you will freeze in your cabin. I was unfortunate to arrive in pouring rain and a thunderstorm. We were offered a hot tea in the bedouin season but were told that AC will only be available after 4:00pm. I understand that power supply is tricky in a desert but I was surprised, though. Cabins are adventurous and give you the feeling of a tent but they are solid cabins. You have a bathroom for your own, which is nice to have even though there is no AC in there. In the evening we had an outside temperature of 7 deg C - same as your bathroom. But well, if you are going for an adventure you might not need it in the end for just one night. The place is packed with ~ 40 cabins, not far away there are three other camps. You can hear their guests at night as well. Stargazing is limited by the many lights on site and in the other camps. It would be a perfect place otherwise.

The camp is sheltered behind a mountain, the tents are facing to a big dune where it is usual to see the sunset, nice! The staff is very kindness and food is delicious in the traditional Bedouin style. The tents are spacious and the beds very comfortable and they have air conditioning from 3pm when you return from a jeep tour. I can not understand some negative reviews I believe these people are wrong about their destination not about the camp, this is not as a luxury safari resort in Africa. Thanks Mahmoud and all staff!

The camp is hidden and located far from the main road. This make the stay very nice. No electricity from 9am till 5pm which make totally sense, due the idea of the camp. The best is to arrive in the afternoon, go for a jeep tour and enjoy Bedouin bbq after e nice shower in the nice traditional style tent. The hospitality is their signature.
