The house is in a perfect location for exploring Gadara and the surrounding area, situated on a quiet, tidy side street in the central part of town. The rooms are clean and well-organized, with a good layout, but the highlight is the terrace and the view – that’s what really makes it special. Breakfast was tasty, the usual fare. They invited us into their home across the road to share dinner with them (and were happy to answer our endless questions about Jordan!). Ahmad also drove me to the local shop to buy me fire lighters for our hike starting the next day just because he felt we would need them.
