Makanak Villas — Hotel in Jarash

Stayed here for two nights in September with my wife, toddler, and baby in the family villa at the top of the resort. The place is stunning, carved into the mountain with amazing views. The design and finishings are impressive, and the gated setup feels private and secure.That said, some practical things could be improved. The sliding doors don’t lock (we still felt safe, but a lock would help), and cleanliness needs work, furniture and mattresses had visible stains. For the price, we expected better. On the surface it seems clean but definitely needs some deep cleaning and the staff could be more thorough. The pool was great and nicely heated, but the jacuzzi was cooler than the pool, and running it too long caused a short power outage.

There’s one on-site staff member who was helpful and can assist with anything you need, including deliveries (since apps don’t really work here). Be ready to bring your own essentials though, towels, toiletries, cookware, etc. Towels had to be requested, and even that took a bit of back-and-forth.

Also, a few cats roam around, entertaining for kids, but one kept trying to sneak inside.

All in all, we had a great time, but next time we’ll come more prepared. With some attention to cleanliness and guest comfort, this place could be amazing....

This weekend was special and unique. Everything in this place was perfect. The site and the view are one of a kind, the service is amazing. The villa included everything that we needed, it was fantastic. The most useful part is kids area, actually the games was for kids and adults it was amazing. The pool was clear and clean. One of the most important things is when we received the villa the owner checked the place and took us for a round in the villa, they showed us a lot of respect. literally amazing!!! Worst experience ever of staying in such places. Cleanliness of the place is a big ZERO. We had to request at least to wipe the floor and tables before anything and then we did our cleaning part too so we can stay in the place for the rest of the day. But literally everything was dirty; rooms, bedding, toilets and kitchen. Gaurd said they don't clean the villas after each stay !! By the way don't be deceived ( like I was) by the high rating, it's all done by relatives of the manager he is from same family !!! I paid one quarter less but it doesn't deserve a penny! I give one star for privacy...
