If I could describe my experience at Petra Bubble Luxotel in just one word, it would be "magical." From the moment we arrived at this enchanting oasis, my partner and I knew we were in for an unforgettable romantic getaway. The hotel's unique concept of bubble accommodations amidst the breathtaking beauty of nature surpassed all our expectations.

Upon entering the Petra Bubble Luxotel grounds, we were immediately struck by the seamless blend of luxury and nature. We travelled from London to Jordan for 3 nights, flying into Amman and returning from Aqaba. As our flight arrived in the very early hours of the morning we checked into a hotel close to Amman airport before transferring to Petra for the day and finally onto Wadi Rum for 2 nights. We stayed at the Bubble Luxotel which by all accounts was a fantastic choice albeit being very expensive in comparison to the other bubble camps available in Wadi Rum. The views were stunning and the added touch of the hot tub truly made it a memorable experience. ||All the staff were very friendly and made an effort to speak to you which I really liked. Yassar, the head chef was present throughout meal times and the fact he remembered my name every time I saw him made it that bit more special. The WiFi was surprisingly great everywhere in the camp and we didn’t experience any interruptions throughout our stay. ||The activities through the hotel can be expensive so we found our own private driver who picked us up from Amman, arranged a private guide in Petra, dropped us to the camp and returned the following day to take us on a magical 3 hour Jeep safari around Wadi Rum. He also went out of his way at 2am in the morning to help us re-arrange our flights as they were cancelled with the political unrest in neighbouring countries and that alone was priceless. I can’t thank Yahea enough for his help and arranging amazing tours and would highly recommend him to anyone travelling to Jordan. His contact no. if it is of any help to others is +962 7 7776 9917 ||Don’t be put off with visiting this amazing country as the people are amazing and doesn’t have any trouble from unrest in the rest of the region.||The cost of the stay was exceptionally high in comparison to the rest of the camps in Wadi Rum. During the summer months the temperature can be unbearable and the hot tub was great. ||Only issue was it lacked a canopy of some sort to keep the sun off your head. We improvised and used the hot tub cover to make a makeshift canopy which was ingenious! Also, as we decided to stay at the camp in the afternoon the lunch menu wasn’t great and no snacks available to purchase either. Would recommend bringing your own supplies just in case you...

If I could give more stars, I definitely would! This hotel has been by far one of the most special hotels I have ever stayed in my life, and I have been lucky to be able to be well travelled. I cannot think of one con.. and oh so many pluses!! Staff is super attentive, try to help you out with every detail and it never feels like it is to get a tip or a good review as in other places. Location is amazing, the views are breathtaking specially at sunset.. if you have a car as us, in 17min you are in Petra and if not, there is a shuttle that takes you there. Getting to and back from Petra is not an issue. Food!! Omg.. the food!! The dinners are varied and oh sooo de-li-cious. Mezze and jordanian food at it's best. Pretty well equipped breakfast.. you always find a great choice. The rooms, I mean, this is the selling point.. private bubble with jacuzzi, sleeping under the stars and the moonlight, do I need to say more? Super child friendly.. I was a bit sceptic to stay here with our one-yr old but within three seconds, every doubt went away. They accommodate you and your child as comfy as at home and all staff are happy to help you with your little one. Clean! We are just a bit messy at our room, specially with a baby. When we came back in the afternoon after touring Petra, our room was spotless and super tidied up. Our baby crawled all over the place and there was not one dirty spot on his hands or clothes. Bedouin tent. Such a charming place for after dinner.. we went there every night. 9. 10.... I can go on and on, but I guess you get how happy I am at this place.

Did everything go spotless? No, we did have a little problem getting hot water but it was solved within 5mins on a busy morning. We also didn't have wifi one night on the dining room but I even got a local phone with a hotspot in no time. For me, the best hotels are not always the one's where everything runs perfectly, but the one's that can perfectly manage any small inconvenience (and this really were minor details) and this hotel showed us that they can handle it as champs!

So so thankful with everyone at this amazing place. We certainly would love to come back.
