Petra Mountain House — Hotel in Maan

Öncelikle ev sahibi Audha ve çocukları Beşşar ve Baseem’e çok teşekkür ederiz. Üst düzey bir misafirperverlikle karşılaştık. Kendileri evlerini bize açtıkları gibi kocaman yüreklerini de bize açtılar. Çok sıcak kanlı, çok neşeli, çok misafirperver, çok cömert davrandılar. Konaklamaya gelecek olursak, ev çok temizdi, hem odada hem de ortak olmak üzere iki tuvalet ve banyo vardı. Kocaman oturma alanında saatlerce sohbet edebildik. Evin dışında hazırlanmış olan oturma alanında gün batımının muhteşem manzarasını seyrettik. Ev sahibi bizimle frizbi bile oynadı. Hazırladıkları sabah kahvaltısı geleneksel Ürdün kahvaltısıydı. Akşam yemeğinde ise biz ne istersek onu yaptılar. Muhteşem bir maklube yedik. Petra hakkında bizi muazzam şekilde bilgilendirdi. Sonraki durağımız olan Akabe ile alakalı da bizi kendi arkadaşlarına yönlendirdi. Bizim kaldığımız gün arkadaşının düğünü vardı oraya da gittik. Apayrı bir tecrübe oldu bizim için. Bize sağladığı her şey için çok Audha’ya teşekkür ederiz. Herkese tavsiye ederim.

First of all, we would like to thank the host Audha and his children Bashar and Baseem. We were met with a high level of hospitality. They opened their big hearts to us just as they opened their homes to us. They were very friendly, very cheerful, very hospitable, very generous. As for the accommodation, the house was very clean, there were two toilets and bathrooms, both in the room and in common. We were able to chat for hours in the huge sitting area. We watched the magnificent view of the sunset in the sitting area prepared outside the house. The host even played frisbee with us. The breakfast they prepared was traditional Jordanian breakfast. At dinner, they did whatever we wanted. We ate a wonderful maklube. He informed us tremendously about Petra. He directed us to his friends about our next stop, Aqaba. There was a wedding of his friend on the day we stayed and he took us there. It has been a unique experience for us. A big thanks to Audha for everything he provided us. I would recommend it...

This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to experience an authentic beduin hospitality. The owner and his family took care of us in a way that no 5* hotel could match. We enjoyed family atmosphere delicious food, clean rooms and amazing view for the terrace. The guest-house is in a quiet place outside of bustle and hustle of Petra town. The hosts provided great hospitality. The atmosphere was very warm. We highly recommend the food served by the owners (do not hesitate to order dinners also - you can experience a lot of local tastes!). Even if it was very cold outside during our stay the air condition worked well and there was hot water in the shower (what isn't so obvious in Jordan).
