As the fiery sun gradually descended below the horizon, casting a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors across the vast expanse of the Arabian Desert, we found ourselves completely captivated by the enchanting beauty of Dana Sunset Camp. Nestled amidst the tranquil dunes, this hidden gem offers an extraordinary desert experience that will leave you spellbound. With its impeccable service, awe-inspiring surroundings, and unforgettable activities, Dana Sunset Camp has truly mastered the art of providing a unique and immersive desert retreat.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm Arabian hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff members at Dana Sunset Camp were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the desert and its rich cultural heritage. Their passion for the region was infectious, and they were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure an unforgettable experience for every guest.

The camp itself was a masterpiece, seamlessly blending traditional Bedouin charm with modern amenities. The luxurious tents were spacious and beautifully adorned, offering a comfortable and cozy respite from the outside world. The attention to detail was remarkable, with thoughtful touches that showcased the region's cultural heritage while providing all the necessary comforts one could desire.

But the true highlight of our stay was the breathtaking desert landscape that surrounded Dana Sunset Camp. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we embarked on a mesmerizing horse ride through the undulating dunes, feeling a profound connection with nature and a sense of serenity that is truly unparalleled. The camp's skilled guides led us on a captivating journey, sharing fascinating stories about the desert's flora, fauna, and the Bedouin way of life. It was a transformative experience that allowed me to immerse myself in the beauty and tranquility of the Arabian Desert.

The culinary offerings at Dana Sunset Camp were nothing short of exceptional. From delectable traditional Middle Eastern cuisine to international delicacies, every meal was a delight for the senses. The flavors, aromas, and presentation were impeccable, and dining under the starry desert sky added a touch of magic to each experience.

Furthermore, the camp's commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices was commendable. They have implemented various measures to minimize their environmental impact, including solar power usage and water conservation initiatives. It was refreshing to witness their dedication to preserving the delicate balance of the desert ecosystem.

In addition to the camel rides, Dana Sunset Camp offers a myriad of activities to cater to every interest. Adventurous souls can partake in exhilarating dune bashing or sandboarding, while those seeking relaxation can indulge in soothing spa treatments or simply unwind by the campfire, savoring the peacefulness of the desert night.

In conclusion, Dana Sunset Camp is a hidden oasis of tranquility and natural beauty that provides an unparalleled desert experience. With its attentive staff, luxurious accommodations, breathtaking surroundings, and a plethora of activities, this remarkable retreat surpasses all expectations. Whether you seek adventure, cultural immersion, or a peaceful escape, Dana Sunset Camp is the epitome of excellence in every sense. Almost at the intersection of Tafilah and Ma'an governorate heading south is another place that everyone should know about.

Just 5.6 km from the village of Al-Qadisiya, in Dana. Dana Sunset Eco Camp almost overlooks Wadi Dana and the Dana Nature Reserve. In a beautiful location ‘off-grid’, completely powered by Solar Paneled Power Banks and running water carried by a truck every couple of days dependingon how many people are staying. So be conscious about your use of water.

The camp is owned by 4 brothers from the local community. Saif is the one in charge of running the camp. The rest of the brothers are in charge of bringing goods to the camp and help to build or clean the camp. In the camp, walking tours can be arranged by Saif. He used to be a tour guide as well and he knows the area and the people like the back of his hand.

It is always good to know that he can arrange everything you need for a price. All the money he makes goes to the development of his camp and to the local community by creating more job opportunities around the area such as a guide or a builder. He has a great commun sense and his entrepreneurs mentality will take him very far.

There are 8 chalets (twin rooms) and one big traditional tent also made of concrete in the middle with (shared facilities) tables, locally decorated benches in which you can make conversations with the owner or even other visitors while enjoying a delicious cup of tea or just make use of the wifi. And "Yes" they have wifi and electricity and running water. What more can you ask in the middle of nowhere.

The camp is a unique hideaway for hikers and lovers of nature and if you like to take night pictures, this is the place to be.

There are only 4 working chalets so far (twin rooms) and the other 4 are almost done. Each has a stunning view of Wadi Dana sun sets.

Breakfast is included in the price that you pay for your accommodation. You can also ask to eat there and try the local cuisine for 8 jds. The food is specially made by the mother of the owner Saif.

Overall it is a perfect location with a very good person as the manager of the camp. You arrive as a client and you leave as a family member.

We really enjoyed it there even though it was freezing at nights, so bring warm clothes and you will have a perfect stay.

Thanks Saif for starting and running this fantastic place. We...

Lovely stay at Saif’s Place. Staying at Dana Sunset Eco camp was one of the highlights of our 14 day trip in Jordan. Although many people just stay overnight in Dana, we definitely recommend you stay 2 of even 3 nights here. If you like hiking in nature, and love to enjoy one of the best sunsets, this place is perfect! Worked as a local guide, Saif can explain you all about the area and recommend you with great hikes (make sure to check Wadi Ghuweir Trail). Something extra about this place: The room is great and clean and the bathroom is well equiped. In the evening you can join for a lovely Jordan Dinner prepared by Saif’s mom. Dinner consists of several Jordanian dishes and tastes delicious. After dinner you can drink tea and enjoy Saif’s stories (he is a great storyteller) Staying at this place will be one of your best experiences in Jordan. Staying here is also supporting a great project / initiative of Saief and his friends. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟-...
