Grand Hotel Victory — Hotel in Aktau

I spent 3 nights at this hotel and was very happy with everything.The location was good, just a five minute walk down to the Caspian Sea. However, the city is quite spread out so it was a longer walk to some parts of the city. Its on a busy road, but the hotel was peaceful. There's a small shopping centre with a supermarket and currency exchange next to the hotel.||||The reception staff were friendly and most spoke English. There's a bar on the top floor with a nice view of the city. There's also an English pub which is very old fashioned, but the food and beer were very good.||||My room was clean,quiet and spacious although the decor was rather old. The room||was cleaned promptly every morning.||||Breakfast was excellent. There's a buffet with cold and hot dishes and also a choice of freshly cooked pancakes, omelette or fried eggs.||||I'm happy i stayed at this hotel and recommend it as a good 4...

From airport pickup to drop-off on the airport and all in between was taken great care of the staff. ,staff was very polite.|Very helpful and friendly staff, plus the swimming pool and sauna was a nice add on and the temperature in the pool was great.|I liked the location of the hotel It was near the beach .
