Hotel "Sultan" — Hotel in Aktobe

Most of Team Canada stayed at a cottage in the Sultan Hotel complex during the 2016 world championship of kettlebell lifting.||The cottages are two floors each, with a very large living/dining room, then kitchen and extra bathroom on the main floor; and two bedrooms and a full bath and laundry facilities on the second floor. The kitchen was equipped but we bought extra pans. The gas stove was great. The hotel put in a 20l water bottle each day.||We had to buy thick mattresses ($13) to put on top of the uncomfortable beds to make sleeping adequate for the athletes. We gave these to the maid when we left.||The front desk could get us a taxi at any hour. We cooked all of our own meals so never used the breakfast restaurant. The Sultan is a decent walk to the largest grocery store in Aktone (the Dina). Stay away from the cottage nearest the front office as it is blasted with lights and car noises. Get a cottage further into the complex where there is only foot traffic.||The weirdest part of the stay was that it was not supposed to happen. We tried to book this hotel months ago only to be repeatedly told it was sold out and there was no availability. When Team Canada arrived the government minders insisted that we stay at the Sultan and then moved us there from the Ilek Hotel. There were several empty cottages and rooms. Strange, but it worked...

Über die Hotelzimmer kann ich nichts sagen, da ich in einem Ferienhaus gewohnt habe. Über das Ferienhaus kann man sagen, das alles was man als selbstversorger braucht vorhanden ist, z.B. Kühlschrank, Gasherd, Microwelle, Wasserkocher, Geschirr und Besteck, zu den letztern beiden ist aber zu sagen das man diese vorher abwaschen sollte, da die Reinigungskraft die täglich reinigt nur grob druchwischt und wenn ein Gast das Haus verlässt, wird keine Grundreinigung durchgeführt. Zu dem Haus selber, es ist ziemlich abgewohnt, die Tapete löst sich von den Wänden, der Bodenbelag ist beschädigt, die Möbel sind teilweise defekt. Das Badezimmer ist ziemlich klein, hat aber alles was man braucht, auch eine Waschmaschiene. Die Duschkabine sollte mal erneuert werden, da sich in den Ecken schon Schimmel und anderer Dreck angesammelt hat. Fazit: Für eine Kurzen Aufenthalt ist es Ok, aber für einen längeren sollte man es...

Останавливались в этом отеле на период командировки 3,5 дня. Сутки стоили 12000тг, полсуток 9000тг. Отель состоит из нескольких корпусов с отдельными входами. Завтрак накрывают на цокольном этаже. На завтрак были: 2 вида каш, сосиски, овощи, блины, оладьи, пирог, пицца или горячие бутерброды, яйца вареные и яичница, сыр, ветчина, яблочное повидло, сгущенка, чай, кофе, компот, морс. Номер брали стандартный. По размеру большой с большой двуспальной кроватью, плоским ТВ, кондиционером, кулером, шкафом для вещей, сейфом. Были одноразовые тапочки. За 3,5 дня их даже один раз поменяли. Ванная комната просторная с зоной душа, отделенной стеклянной перегородкой. Из минусов: качество сантехники оставляет желать лучшего, сгорел фен прямо в руках ((. Плохая шумоизоляция номеров. Очень понравился внутренний дворик с вольерами для белочек и беседкой.
