Mansion Hotel Arman — Hotel in Almaty

This is a place to stay at for short-term stays. The service is nice, the rooms are good and clean. The shower works well, the air conditioning works well, there is a refrigerator in the room. A big plus is that they have screens on the windows.||||The issues are that the hotel is near an industrial area. There are 2 highways crisscrossing. Nothing is really within walking distance. You can cross a bridge over the highway to go to a little shopping center. The other is the WiFi, which comes in and out.||||However, this is good value for a day or two while waiting to go to the airport.||||Note that they do not accept foreign credit cards. However, there is an ATM machine at the shopping center I mentioned above. Also, it would be nice to have water without gas ready for guests. You can buy from a machine in the hotel, but when I was there, they had only had with gas.
