Royal Palace Hotel — Hotel in Almaty

1.located away from the city's hustle bustle so cannot go on a stroll to local places self service : no transfer of luggage to room even on arrival 3.mini fridge not working 4.no electric kettles provision for a cup of tea nor any cups given in the room Minifridge doesnt work but has condoms inside it( mostly provided on request) Food average to good 7no gym 8no playing zone for kids 9 Has a bad reputation with taxi drivers They Keep on saying"this is a hotel not meant for family" Overall there is some construction area at the backyard 10 less staff;mostly on 24 hrs shirts so the less efficacy 11 despite requesting for face to face room as had 2 teenage daughters travelling with us they didn't complex 12.put us a fine for 3000 tenge fir some oil stain which we didn't put 13.adequate toilet paper...

This review has been posted after my second accommodation in Royal Palace. The hotel is so far from the airport and located in the old part of the city. The staff are super friendly and polite, but the hotel itself is far from 4 star brand. The water tap in my room toilet has no screens, so water just splashed everywhere wildly . The shelf for holding the towels was hanging on one screw in an angle, which forced staff to use toilet flash tank and towel storage. The view is not grate even from the top floors. You may see a brick factory 🏭 from the top ( i know how to build up a brik now). There was no action when I mentioned the issues. I should mention the menu is quite cheap and hotels rooms are so quiet. So it's not...

Was terrible and most uncomfortable experience.Wrong info. They marked airport transportation is free but it wasn’t.They never got phone from Trip.com to ask pick me up from the airport.Finally I could book pick up service but nobody showed up in the airport.Wasted my time 1 hour to re organize this pick up then even they failed to pick me up.Kept saying drivers are in the airport….They a stranger guy knocked my door late at night.Reception said that’s a male staff to deliver chocolate. I asked who is it? But guy couldn’t speak Eng. No clue he is a staff or not.Nobody should knocked door...
