The owner is kind annoying, asking confirmation more than 3x. If you don't believe Your guest better DONT accept pay at the hotel but locked the price with half payment. Clean hostel but very cramped rooms. No privacy. I abhor cigarettes as it pollutes lungs. People smoke near entranceways which drifts into hostels. At night it’s hard to sleep knowing the health risk. As other posts indicate city bus stop nearby as well as regional bus terminal. The Metro has very limited coverage. City buses cost 150 tenge.
