Osteria Swara Camp — Hotel in Adu ward

Stayed at this wonderful camp on a short safari in February. This 12 tent luxury Eco camp was opened last year on the banks of the Galana river and is one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed. The tents are just awesome with all mod cons and beautifully themed in local Kenyan tradition. You are looked after so well by the staff who are so attentive and helpful. The food was lovely and 4 courses for lunch and dinner. The two Masai warriors looked after us at night in camp and walked us to tents at night to make sure we were safe. The camp is in a great location and our driver Roger was brilliant and went out of way to make sure we sure everything whilst out on our safari drives. |Can't wait to return next year brining some more friends to experience the great hospitality of this...

This is a stunning camp on the banks of the Galana River, just outside Sila Gate to Tsavo East. Beautiful spacious tented accommodation with your very own Maasai guide to walk you back under the stars each night. The food was some of the best we had in Kenya, compliments to the chef. Brown & co did a wonderful job looking after us. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the river banks and lovely roaring fire each night to sit and tell stories around. The campsite is intimate and peaceful, touched by the magic of Kenya. Hassan was a five-star host and went out of his way to make us happy. Wonderful memories, we hope to be back in the not too...

Ok savana, ma la struttura è vecchia e mal funzionante.|In savana a Tsavo ci sono tante strutture che costano uguale ma, molto più pulite e decorose.|Piscina lurida, materassini dei lettini anche,acqua nelle stanze a contagocce, ma solo alcune, quindi la questione è la manutenzione non la mancanza di acqua…|Tende che non si possono aprire e quindi non circola l’aria.. lampade quasi tutte staccate una sola in camera una sola in bagno.. lasciate ogni cosa dentro gli zaini.. perché al buio non la ritrovate e si riparte all’alba.| Cibo discreto anche se non abbondante, ma su questo punto non mi soffermerei, non si va al safari per mangiare..|Fantomatici coccodrilli e ippopotami che tranne uno avvistato per caso di giorno, forse gonfiabile 😂 dichiarati per fare suggestione, masai che ovviamente vi accompagna ad ogni passo per rinforzare questa suggestione, poi chiedi di andare a prendere il caricabatterie in camera al buio di notte e ti fanno andare da solo, ma prima delle 23:00 dopo no , si sa che l’ippopotamo ha l’orologio., mica perché devono spegnere i generatori di corrente….|A tsavo c’è molto di meglio, e quindi dopo avere già visto con i miei occhi altri camp, credo vadano premiati quelli puliti e organizzati.. |ps: già l’insegna scolorita e quasi illegibile, all’ingresso rende l’idea della trascuratezza e dovrebbe fungere da deterrente..|In ogni caso viva il Kenya e i Kenioti che lavorano seriamente, ma non...
