There are several problems with this camp:

  1. The camp representatives (general manager/office) don't seem to take responsibility when you raise an issue. We were really surprised with the fact that you have to pay national park entrance fee per night you stay. It wasn't on the website and the lonely planet only talk about an entrance fee. The GM said to us that KWS/the government doesn't allow for putting these notes on the website. Checking with KWS officials however tells a different story (the park must put it on the website). We booked for 3 nights and were unable to cancel a night or get compensated in a proper way. After much debate and uncertainty, the GM offered to pay for one day park entrance, which we accepted. Upon leaving the park, the payment hasn't been done by the GM, which resulted in being halted by the rangers and waiting for an hour, before a camp person came and pay the fee. This is a real dishonest shame.
  2. The camp is located in really close proximity of the city. This means you have sounds of dogs barking, mosques, honking traffic and regular city sounds all day and night long. It keeps you up and deprevates you from any sleep and relaxation.

All in all it is a shame that a place this expensive can be really nice with different people running it and being located in a place farther from the city.

Positive points are the staff, who are really nice and the quality of the food, which...

This is a beautiful place staying at within the Nakuru National Park. The tents are an amazing experience, well groomed and with all amenities. They even brought us a water bottle that kept us you warm throughout the night. Internet is only in the reception area and not in the tents, which i loved. The reception and it s surrounding is well put up, my favorite was the pool and it s sitting arrangements from where you can see the baboons in the National Park. After the game you come back to relax to a massage that was very efficient in relaxing the entire body. The dining experience was wonderful with friendly staff to good vegetarian food: we especially loved the soup and the fresh naan. The service is excellent, the staff extremely polite and friendly . My only regret is having stayed there only one night. We ll come back just to enjoy the park and this place.||There is just one thing we were surprised with is the church ceremony going on. It felt as if they were just the other side of the fence. When asked about what was going on, we were told that it was the church. They sure are very lively, that seems the case all over the region. This...

One of the worst experiences ever in Nakuru Lake, at the beginning from reception we were informed that hot water is only available in morning and late night. The tents were a nice experience at the beginning but it all turned for the worst - when we went for lunch. You were only given two choice ala carte dishes and one salad choice to select and not good options at all especially if you have children. The quality of the food was extremely horrible and not hot. Then tea cups were not clean at all. And when we spoke with Hotel Manager, he admitted that since he has taken position just prior to Covid everything afterwards has been going into a nose dive. He has made several complaints to the owners and partners but no action has been done about it and especially more the common complaints on the food quality and the extremely limited variety that many guests before have complained about. Overall, the place has some great potential but it needs some care and a more assertive management team to raise the quality of the food and...

A very beautiful property indeed located inside the park. The property is well-maintained and in sync with the surroundings. The huts have been made to accommodate all the needs of a modern traveller. The lanes leading to huts will give you the storybook feels (pixie world). The tones are warm and soothing catering to us after a tiring day of game drives. The best part - the park is just across the fence and a pair of wild hogs came to greet us early in the morning. Plus if you get time, explore the area very early in the morning to be delighted by the songs of birds. The food provided was nice and simple. Loved the western dinner that included pan-fried fish. Overall we had a nice stay.

Stayed 2 nights here during our trip. The room was fine , looked pretty decent. On the second day, was told that the water pipe was broken by animal so no water supply for a few hours. Even after it’s fixed, the water was contaminated, not clean at all. Only provided 2 small bottles of water each room, need to purchase additional water. But the staff were friendly and attentive, especially Marsha at the restaurant. She was very cheerful and provided excellent services every time we saw her.

Way better than anticipated. We've never stayed in tented accommodation before but this felt luxury like a tropical paradise. Loved the setting amongst the trees with the wandering warthogs. Brilliant staff and tasty food.
