Naishi Guest House is a two bedroom cottage coupled with a two bedroom outhouse. The bedrooms in the main cottage each have a queen and single sized bed, so each room can easily sleep 3.
The cottage features full time solar power with a fully stocked kitchen. The house is very clean and well maintained. Made for a very comfortable stay.
The best way to get to Naishi is via the Nderit gate, unless you fancy the longer drive through the park via the main gate. Going is quite slow in that case since the roads are quite rough in patches inside the park. Having said that, absolutely look for a 4wd vehicle with decent ground clearance.
Most of the big-5 can be seen quite close to Naishi. The white rhino, lions and buffalo are all within vicinity. There are also several herds of giraffe and zebra quite close by. You have to plan for an early drive to see them, though.
The caretakers at Naishi were excellent. Livingstone and Caleb were always around, ready to lend a helping hand. Truly stand up guys.

The causeway road and the road through Euphorbia forest are closed due to flood damage. We only found this out once we were already in the park and had to drive out the Nderit gate round the south side of the park for an hour.
The house itself is average, but the location is superb and the caretaker is great.
There was plenty of hot water, the kitchen has all the pans, crockery and cutlery you need and a mid sized fridge, the beds were comfortable and it was clean.
The house is in okay condition and with average decor, the annex bedrooms are a bit like staff quarters rather than a proper extension to the house. The solar system batteries ran out in the middle of the night and the controller started beeping (the caretaker warned us this was likely), bring a few torches.
I would definitely stay here again purely for the location, just set your expectations for a basic, but...

By the way...
