Kika Hotel — Hotel in City of Kisumu

The facility seems to be an investment by someone with the right idea and funding but wrong Fundi’s and staffing||Googled Kika Hotel and decided to give it a try as Bed only needs..Called ahead of arrival and indicated we would be arriving for late checkin well past midnight on leaving Nairobi for Kisumu for function next day||Poor reception by receptionist who barely looked at us or responded to our need to have Ebay rooms possible with working facilities||Expectations dwindled with a night of heavy rain and waking to step onto water that had flooded the room and not to improve, instant shower that did not work beyond the lot switch ..||First and last.. a sure...

Poor! Well having had a long day, I thought I should check in this hotel considering it's also in a prime loxation and relax for a night. First shock, stairs were not lit...well not certain how you're supposed to access the rooms. Second, the room had no extension but there was a fan and one socket...not sure how are supposed to charge your phone and have the fan on. Possibly choose one struggle! Tried to wash my hands...no water.! "the receptionist noted..maji inaweza rudi usiku.?!" Who runs a hotel without water?? Had enough of it and decided to check out...

Unprofessional client handling service from the staff, right from room booking to the food handling. Dinner of chicken and chips at Ksh 700 is way below standard, flat and not at all tasty. Room 333 has a leaking toilet pipe and it was not well kept especially if you are all about hygiene. Definately not...
