800KES for a single room per night is OK for this place. Its 8km from city center so do keep that in mind. Road is super bad full dust when there's no rain and when is rain you have streams crossing the road everywhere. But that is not hotels problem or about it. Hotel is super fine for this price. Its clean and have a hot shower which is already better than many in Africa. And they have a nice kitchen and prepare good meals and bring in to your room. There are also crocodiles at the place and some other animals so you can pay them a visit. They were pretty steady posing for me , not a single one moved while I was there. It can be a little bit noisy because it is near the road which is somewhat busy. But nothing to serious. All in all totally...

Before my travel to Kisumu, i searched and found Mountain resort on Google, On arrival in Kisumu, the only hurdle was getting to Mt View, but once we gave directions to the cabby, we ended up there in 10 mins. Well, our stay was at best was surprisingly very cheap, comfortable and pleasant. Not your start facility, but we got most of what we wanted, plus the homely atmosphere, friendly staff and most of all privacy. Not bad at all for a long stay with friends. Don't you ever go to this place! It's disappointing. The water is not running! You can't even close the door to the bathroom. The staff is not working. There is no official reception.

I couldn't find a mountain view. It's loud because it is directly next to the road.
