I visited Enchula Resort for lunch today with my partner. The experience was the worst i have ever gotten from any hotel. Firstly, there was no water to wash our hands. All the white hand wash water basins dont work. I ordered Chicken and Chips, my partner ordered Chicken and Chapati. The Chicken was so tough that we could not eat it. We returned the chicken and ate the accompaniments. I ordered a bear, before long, a green housefly dipped itself into my glass and another into my bear bottle. I went to the men urinals only to find dozens of green houseflies.

This was the breaking point, i requested to see a supervisor and they said they were in a meeting. I requested for my bill and paid Kshs 2,950/-, i walked away annoyed. Later in the day, i googled and called their phone number but again the supervisor couldn't talk to me. What a scam and a ripoff? Very sad that such a service exists.

Great place. I loved their well tended garden, service was great and so were their meals. I didn't sample everything they had on their menu as I fell in love with their hot and sour fish that is served wrapped in banana leaves on the very first day. It was so good that I ordered it all through my 4 days stay there!

The rooms are clean, well decorated with the usual amenities save for a shower cap and wash cloth. No bible or Quran. There is Wifi. No paintings on the walls though and the architect didn't position them well for one to enjoy our Kenyan majestic sunrises and sunsets.
