This is an oasis in the middle of nowhere which presents a lovely spot for rest Ann's relaxation with family and friends. The house is very tastefully furnished, the pool is awesome, and the water particularly nice and cold, perfect for a hot sunny afternoon dip. Staff is generally friendly. The downside is that there was a constant breakdown of power supply while we were there, and they turned off power at midnight, leaving us to sweat away the rest of the night without the fans to cool the house down. The power tripped and went off every few minutes including every time we tried to use the toaster, and one morning we even ran out of water! It's understood that it's an Eco Lodge, but please warm your guests when they book not to expect electricity full time. ||Service is wanting as we could not get many food items on the menu on the first night, and none of the staff is available before 7.30am.    Read moreMy group of 16 foreign students stayed in the main house and shared rooms at the Eco Lodge and they absolutely loved their experience. We were able to reserve them rooms at an affordable rate and the staff at the hostel was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and separated by gender. Myself and my colleagues were provided ideal accommodations separate from the group.||||Safety was never an issue and all the group's property was secure. The meals at the farm restaurant were preplanned and tasty and the chefs can cater to whatever dietary restriction that you might have. The bar by the bar has all of your beverage needs covered. The livestock is not overly noisy and a tour around the premises provides a fun afternoon!||||I would highly recommend staying here whether you are traveling in a group or just a solo traveler. While it is 45 min outside of Kisumu, it offers many tranquil qualities that you can not obtain in the city. Do not miss this place if you are coming to...

They grow most of their vegetables and herbs. Just lovely! Very relaxing place- gazebos, hammocks and all. I really enjoyed my stay. Definitely...
