El Sueno Homestay — Hotel in Hells Gate ward

We stayed for two nights. It was not that difficult to find with Google. When we arrived we feel safe and welcomed. The service was nice, the rooms were very clean. Here we had the best breakfast so far in Kenya. Veronika is a lovely person, who takes care of her guests. She helped us out with cooking , washing clothes and recommendations how to find spots. We felt like home and very safe. When we had a problem they helped us immediately. The only negative point was the bathtub, wich does not function. The rooms at El Sueno are comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pictures accurately represent the place and the breakfast is tasty! The location is far from attractions, it looks like it’s beside the highway and Google maps, uber, and bolt also suggest that, but it is inaccurate. Drivers must take a series of backroads to get there. We had to constantly negotiate with Uber and Bolt drivers on the price of rides because the of the location, but also other roads on the map are inaccurately placed. I enjoyed my stay at elsueno, i was warmly received by the lady Maureen; she treated me more of a sister than a client. She made delicious breakfast and dinner for me, to my preference. Had I stayed longer I would have added some weight I guess 😝😝. The place has spacious and extremely clean rooms, nice views from the balcony, I will definitely recommend this place to anyone in traveling to Naivasha.
